17/1/2014 17:01 | What are our chances of finding more oil rich basins?? | ih_370694
15/1/2014 17:19 | did we just fund more oil, the market dont think much of it | itsonlyme2
15/1/2014 08:30 | Good news but no surprises for those in the know. | warnado1
12/1/2014 14:07 | aoi would seem to be a better focused investment for Statoil rather than Tullows scattered empire | juju44
10/1/2014 17:01 | Lundin appear to be proud of their ability to sell companies on.... I recall looking at a website where they trumpeted exactly how big those returns were. | eipgam
10/1/2014 16:24 | Don't think AOI will want to be taken out, would have to be a hell of an offer for them to accept. Tullow have an awful lot of baggage as well as Kenya/Ethiopia (some of it good, some of it bad). AOI have only EARS. I would hope we'd wait until we'd proven up much more before accepting a bid. | runster
10/1/2014 12:33 | there should be some useful read across i would think but the market isnt agreeing - not yet | juju44
10/1/2014 11:29 | if they take TLW then they will want AOI | itsonlyme2
10/1/2014 09:01 | takeover rumours on Tullow | juju44
10/1/2014 08:52 | TLW doing well this morning maybe good news leaking out | itsonlyme2
04/1/2014 09:23 | Can you imagine the stick he gave the stewardesses in transit from the Phillipines to Kenya? Makes me shudder. Until its signed and sealed its not a fact, so stop posting/preaching because its better here without you. Wonder who else was present on this so called site visit?? Keep sounding off you are way ahead of others, well I dont recall you bailing out of HRN when I did, also remember your enthusiasm to hear of my trip to Stockholm...until you decided Id made it up. Make your mind up W1. | marty51
03/1/2014 17:35 | without approval and the cash delivered there is no 50% - its an option to buy. I would assume they are waiting for drill results to get them back in.0 | mcbeanburger
03/1/2014 17:09 | W1.....well at least something makes you happy. | ih_370694
03/1/2014 16:45 | No, I know that the company will not tell you anything via emails about Marathons 50% stake until they have the hosts approval. I think you better contact Mr Hill also and inform him that he is also misleading his investors. After all, he has actually stood up during presentations and informed the audience Marathon have a 50% stake so it is all recorded. What's more is that you even acknowledge this on iii. Now you refute it after being told by Mr Hill, me and also knowing that it was discussed on my Kenyan site visit. Oh well, I guess by your conclusion that Marathon plan to give away $21.5M for nothing but those in the know are aware of different!! In the meantime DW, I will continue to be amused at your obvious lack of knowledge. One thing you do provide if nothing else is comedy value. | warnado1
03/1/2014 16:32 | Obviously you know more than the company.!!! I don't think so. I prefer to go along with the company than some unknown poster in cyberspace. Should the position change, Im sure the company will inform shareholders in the appropriate manner. In the meantime, I can categorically confirm that AOI hold a 100% interest in the Rift Basin as per their website. Delighted to hear your 'spoon feeding' will stop. Your unproven information is a liability to any holder or prospective holder. My strong advice to you Warnado would be to follow your own comments and stop posting your misleading thoughts with no substance. | ih_370694
03/1/2014 16:14 | DW, you really are silly. I confirmed it to you and also Mr Hill has confirmed it in several presentations he has undertaken. It was also a hot topic during our site visit to Kenya. I know for a fact that Marathon have applied for 50% of the Ethiopian Rift Basin Block. $21.5M is the sum involved. Do you really expect the company to tell you this when approval has not yet been confirmed by the host country? I have spoon feed you for long enough and I told you it will stop. Well that has happened now so do not expect any apology from me. You should be the one giving apologies when, yet again, you are proven to be wrong. | warnado1
03/1/2014 15:56 | .....confirm your post with facts. | ih_370694
03/1/2014 15:55 | Not what the company have confirmed to me or what is published clearly on the website. What are you trying to say.? | ih_370694
03/1/2014 15:52 | No I am not wrong. Marathon have 50% of the Rift Basin in Ethiopia. You will see eventually and I have proved that I am way ahead of others. Watch and learn. | warnado1
03/1/2014 11:47 | Im afraid you are WRONG Warnado. I have it in writing from the company. They have a 100% working interest in the Rift Basin. You really should brush up on your research. Very poor to mis inform these boards. Just for clarification loud and clear in the Q3 MD&A, AOI 100%. hxxp://www.africaoil Looks like a serious apology is due. Hope this helps your investment strategy. | ih_370694
31/12/2013 14:02 | Wrong again DW. I'm still around but keep everything to myself nowadays. I'll leave it to the others to fill you with ill informed nonsense as I got tired of spoon feeding facts. By the way, I saw your post on iii about the rift basin. Why do you find it hard to absorb the fact that Marathon have 50% like I told you a long time ago. I even went as far as detailing the payment to you. | warnado1
24/12/2013 13:55 | Just like to wish W1 a happy Xmas, let bygones be bygones, a flat year for AOI, but this is a 7 year hold. Its the best high impact oilie on the market bar none. W1 I love you. | marty51 |
