04/8/2016 10:51 | nice little rise re j [hd] | jumbo66
04/8/2016 10:49 | This may have been done to sniff out an offer. The BOD may have an inkling of some interest and this would be a good way of firming that interest. This is only my opinion but there has been interest before. | vitec
04/8/2016 10:32 | listin costs on AIM inc all the docs/legals gotta be north of $2mil I remember Parkmead reversed into a similar size company and big gains were made uk oil gas authority not goin to allow tax credits thou unless it based on asset like skelig dont need dual listin any more but some company might like that exposure market ascribin around 30% chance it wont be wound down in cash for 3p market might be expectin a better share based offer from another company timeframes mean any offers gotta be tabled before september delist date | fsawatcher
04/8/2016 09:15 | What a farce... Lost a fortune here...individuals holding onto jobs and not investing in the company... Far better investment in IOG indepenendent oil and gas... Management in IOG dug into their pockets when things were tough and took risks for both the betterment of themselves company and shareholders. IOG is now on the cusp of greatness this sad sorry mess is on the cusp of 3p and will be deavoured to the point of 0 if this team has their way... Gla. Watch those pennies! | l2e
04/8/2016 09:02 | ohisay, totally agree with that, and there are any number of possibilities now | itsriskythat
04/8/2016 09:00 | Even as a cash shell it's attractive to those looking for an AIM listing, better be quick before the delisting in September. | itsriskythat
04/8/2016 08:57 | 2.2p strikes me as a gift buy level. | ohisay
04/8/2016 08:54 | there's nothin left on the books to worry about all associated liabilities were cleared when they did the decom deal 5 cents or 3p is the likely balance the shares go off market in september so any bidder who wants skelig for free best get offer in fast could see an offer of 20% premium to cash if paid in company shares or 3p cash comes back to investors | fsawatcher
04/8/2016 08:48 | So Potter spent three years trying to line up a deal after rejecting the Sound Oil proposal and ended up with nothing other than drawing a salary. He now returns with (at best) a deal not quite as good and subject to uncertainties. Meanwhile Sound went on to rise many multiples of the price at the time of the deal. Potter is a disgrace - one to avoid in the future. | yasx
04/8/2016 08:36 | at 3p a share i'll just about get a refund for 4 years of misery here. Might as well sit back and see how things develop. If anyone bids for the company at 3p, they get it for free! | nick rubens
04/8/2016 08:25 | I seem to remember that Sound Energy bid about 3p a share when their own shares were approximately 10p a share. Sound Energy is significantly higher, AEY went down and over all that time all we can look forward to is 3p a share. However, it is better than getting 1.6p a share and this has now injected some interest in the share and the company. They have basically put themselves up for sale. It would not surprise if a bid came at the 3p a share level or slightly higher. | vitec
04/8/2016 08:20 | I understood that the major asset is its retained tax losses - they can only be utilised by a bidder in a similar business ie e and p. So a bid should ensue (but then again how many oil co's currently have any tax gains to offset?) | fireplace22
04/8/2016 08:14 | That self confessed criminal David Hopkins has with his two associates reduced their stake in AEY. Just look at what they did at SER | shale2
04/8/2016 08:11 | They are audited accounts so should be a given. Very Minimum 3p in my opinion | investment dave
04/8/2016 08:10 | I guess it comes down to whether you believe a discredited bod or not? | o1dsmokie
04/8/2016 08:00 | So obviously it's worth what someone will pay but 2.9pIn cash is a baseline given. Then the assets | investment dave
04/8/2016 07:59 | ARE THEY BUYABLE? | o1dsmokie
04/8/2016 07:45 | Just under 2.9p at current exchange rate & hand back all the 'assets' unless bid comes....Badly timed sell in the other announcement this morning. | oilretire
04/8/2016 07:42 | Could well attract better offers as well. So minimum of 3p cash no debt and assets | investment dave
04/8/2016 07:31 | been watchin this one coz tradin on tsx volume picked up recently insiders buyin .... now we knows why 3p looks guaranteed in the bank another offer from a company could come in higher as cash goes for premium when paid for in shares assets look worthless they got any tax losses that would transfer to new owner? | fsawatcher
04/8/2016 07:04 | Over 3p in cash so could do 100% | investment dave
04/8/2016 07:03 | That's good news today's | investment dave
01/8/2016 16:02 | Sound oil bolkocks | investment dave
29/7/2016 19:27 | Sound Oil maybe a bit toppy but AEY has only one path and that's down.As long as Potter and Greed are drawing awayvthis is doomed.VGLTA | seangwhite |
