Wrong again. Its better to do nothing than to waste the money on a deal with SOU. when did I say Mr Potter was doing a great job? Its a bottom drawer job at best here. I've just pointed out deals that AEY should be doing. You've just pointed out deals that AEY shouldn't have been doing and luckily enough didn't do. :)

Chambers, Levi and Oil would get enough support to co-ordinate an EGM here IMO. Levi tweeted a while back they were working on something that could bring 4p-5p for Antrim shareholders.

Since then Levi has gone quiet, Chambers also is keeping a low profile and Oil has decided to go below radar as well. I wonder if something is being hatched for AEY?

At current levels I suspect this may be worth a punt as cash is worth 3.6p alone.

I suspect Edgein will soon appear making excuses and suggesting Potter is doing a great job, that he is waiting for the right transformational deal. Whatever his spin, the reality is for the past couple of years there has been disproportionate spend, nil exploration and no corporate activity of any sort.

Potter will not go and he therefore needs to be removed, and soon.

Unless Hedgehog boot Potter out, he will simply waste the cash over the next few years. He is not even remotely concerned - and I have no idea where the ongoing spend is occurring, since there appears to be no activity.

Potter rejected the Sound Oil deal because it would have ended his ability to draw a salary - period. He is woefully inadequate.

I think the only way forward is for a number of shareholders to collectively approach Hedgehog and invite them to support a resolution to remove Potter. Otherwise, this will just carry on and the cash will be eroded.

The only chance here is for some entity to reverse in for a listing I guess the BOD would not be actively looking for same - perhaps they are just sitting there waiting and hoping - you would think somebody else could use the cash as well. IMO

Its actually not in the director's interests NOT to do a deal because this company will be bust in about 3 years and that will be the end of their salaries. Also if they allow that to happen they'll be finished in the O&G industry. They'll be lucky to get a job flipping burgers.

It needs to happen - but, the majority holder needs to support the same. Quite why that shareholder seems reluctant to do anything baffles me...

Good to see another Oiler (Chariot) taking the knife to a number of Directors as they are doing very little. It is shameful the way our lot do nothing here at all just keep on drawing until there is nothing left.Anyone think a call for an organized vote against the BOD might succeed.VGLTA

Any value enhancing combination would do. Well SQZ do have Irish exploration assets too, not quite on the scale of the porcupine assets here but interesting enough and their free carry approach to exploration currently would suit these AM licence(s). An offer of $10m SQZ paper would clinch it for the majority of AEY holders imo and they'd get any tax losses and the Irish assets for free. They'd then have $30m to go fishing in the NS for another Erskine rather than the $23m odd they have now. Well we can only hope, but at least they still have more potential than many of the other cash shells on AIM.

I like the idea about SQZ combination (or any combination!), as long as Potter & Greer step aside, however I doubt AEY fits SQZ's strategy at this time.

Nice to see the AEY BOD working so hard to run the business so efficiently although they seem to be just going through our cash.This lot make Ms Domino Chappelle at BHS seem business like and maybe even fairly cost effective!!VGLTA
