10/2/2015 09:29 | Looks like Anite are fed up with the sideways movement of their share price in view of the successful business turnaround. Hence the 'Capital Markets Day' this afternoon to increase their visibility. Good news with the China Academy take up of Anite software for testing Lte & Lte A devices & Infrastructure. Q4 looking good. 2015 should put them right back on track. They also have a lot more offerings & are breaking into ancillary sectors. Xceed has taken over from Travel to add to profits. Broker estimate 12 months EBIT £22 mill. | picobird

06/2/2015 07:10 | Quindell, now that's a word that acts as a laxative- LOL. ADVFN keep mentioning it, what I call highly irresponsible. Get out of QPP today & put it in AIE. But what do I know. Good Luck to anyone in that Company- DYOR AIE interims next month probably. QPP now sell at 64.5p & buy at 109p from 17.30pm yesterday afternoon. Quite a spread !! | picobird

30/1/2015 08:38 | The ideal company is one which produces to fulfil a necessity, has customers who are addicted to the product, has low taxation (no likelihood of windfall taxes) and has little chance of being put out of business through falling foul of regulatory policies and/or political pressure.. This rules out tobacco, booze, fuel & energy and financial. Also social providers and mining cos. We are left with retail including telecoms and a few other sectors such as healthcare and food production. Anite certainly fulfils a necessity. Its customer's products are in everyone's possession and judging by the average high street highly addictive. Taxation is at normal rates and regulatory pressures are acceptable. There is one other thing the ideal company needs - High profits that are growing sustainably into the far future. Lets hope. Having said all that, I've made more money out of tobacco, booze, fuel & energy companies and the financial sector than I ever have out of Anite! | irenekent
30/1/2015 07:54 | Morning all holders looks like Anite has finally developed a upward trend time for me to climb aboard this bus again. | werty5
29/1/2015 16:03 | Only by a small amount, negligible compared to the many millions they hold. More likely to be a liquidity issue although there is loads of cash sloshing around in the markets. Takes them to 14.99% from around the 15% mark. We have 8 positives from 8 brokers including around 3 holds. As SPT have a lot more brokers that could be the reason for the sharper price movements ? Been looking at the ADVFN podcast companies & the EquityDevelopment companies. Takes me back to the pre Anite years. Seems to me that it's probably the quickest way for newbies to lose their capital. Hopefully they all have the sense to set stop losses ! I would rather that newbies made their way to the Naked Trader site & leave all other tipsters well alone !!! Even so, it looks like he is going to take a hit on FlowGroup, a company that I thought was well half baked. Energy Saving boilers have been turned on their heads by the big names ! There are a few others he has bought into recently which I just cannot see doing well excluding the odd takeover. There is a lot to be said for drip- feeding into decent companies over a period of time. | picobird
29/1/2015 10:19 | Aberdeen are reducing ffs | mbmiah

28/1/2015 21:15 | The uncorrected share price is, I think, 90+Therefore, a good update will hopefully drive this to 100+We will hopefully see improvements in the newly acquired business | mbmiah |
