03/12/2014 11:54 | I've seen the 90p tp today, but only have the 2-12-14 Numis forecasts on eps etc., of eps 5.1p and div 2p for 2015. 2016 numbers are 6.1p and 2.1p. Maybe these have been upped a touch for the 90p target? f | fillipe
03/12/2014 10:28 | Numis upgrades to add and 90p target this morning. | muscletrade
02/12/2014 20:51 | Figures only look great compared to the previous year because the previous year was a complete dud that is why the response was so muted. This share is a bit like trying to turn a oil tanker it is turning but slowly. I am still sitting on the side line hoping the recent low gets retested I would see that as a good buying opportunity, however there is good historic resistance where the price now sits so might have to abandon that idea. | werty5
02/12/2014 19:33 | Not sure how traders work, level 2 probably but this share is small caps & should come on later in the week. We basically need a few large contract wins to get things going. What surprised me was the issue of the figures today, must have been a typo on the Anite website calendar because that stated 09/12/2014. | picobird
02/12/2014 18:35 | My opinion is irrelevant, if the share price had popped up 5-7% today then I would have reinvested but it didn't, the market has spoken and it has collectively shrugged its shoulders. The share price may gain a few pence but this statement has not turned the boat around. I will keep them on my low level monitor and check in next year. | salpara111
02/12/2014 17:25 | They finished Q2 strongly, so H2 by all accounts should continue the trend. Good time to buy in. Anite will do well, but for me, the waiting is a bit of an issue. Not a spring chicken any more. I try to be positive nevertheless & the problem is a market sector problem, not specific to Anite. | picobird
02/12/2014 17:15 | Salpara111 - I do not think the statement bears out your 'tread water' comment. If the statement is accurate, things are improving. IMO this is more about sentiment. The management seem to be on top of the situation. There may well be better buys out there and one may well have to wait for an improvement in the global economy to see a big improvement in AIE, but I cannot see anything that supports your negative stance. | nomdeplume
02/12/2014 14:10 | Well, I was waiting for today with a view to re-entering but on the basis of this statement I won't be. The business is struggling just to tread water which means that it trades on a pretty punchy multiple....any potential "good news" is already priced in here. | salpara111
02/12/2014 13:12 | AIE are a few pence off a 3 year low, not exactly what one would call "holding their own"?? Yes, doing better than SPT, but in reality that's not much to boast about. Hoping it will turn around for holders sooner rather than later | rathlindri
02/12/2014 12:56 | Finncap have gone from 100p to 85p (buy to hold). The other brokers are staying put so far. At least Anite are holding their own compared to Spirent the other week. They will need to pull the rabbit out the hat again in Q4, as usual. The new company Xceed need to exceed. If they can replace Travel profit-wise that will be a beginning. | picobird
02/12/2014 12:22 | Flat is the new black. | nomdeplume
02/12/2014 09:55 | Underwhelming, to put it mildly. | rathlindri
02/12/2014 09:07 | Profit H1 2014 £5.1.(millions Profit H1 2011 £11.00. Profit H1 2012 £14.3 2013 has to be ignored. It will be interesting to see the reaction of the analyst's to these figures this morning. Certainly a great deal better than Spirent's figures. H2 needs to be humongous to come in on my expectations but having said that they are poised to meet full year expectations. H2 is always better than H1 in their cyclical year. This is a decent company but it does seem to have lost the 'wow' factor element of 2012. Cannot see the brokers increasing their price targets for the stock. I would be happy to see a decent M & A bid. Will be looking hard at the figures as the company is in a transitional phase. | picobird
02/12/2014 08:04 | Results looking good | harriiiiddda
02/12/2014 07:59 | Results are in and they seem quite positive for a change | mbmiah
01/12/2014 11:37 | Positive broker ratings don't help this stock I'm afraid lol | mbmiah
01/12/2014 09:18 | Exciting news...Panmure Gordon reiterated their BUY and 142p target this morning. GLA. | muscletrade
27/11/2014 14:42 | At the moment Anite has entered the exciting world of bottoms. werty6 mentioned a double bottom which seems to be forming. Prefer the theory of a double bottom to the Elliot wave theory which is a mystery to me. Could be a straight run up to 90p if the double bottom forms. Re below: Unfortunately Panmure Gordon have a poor reputation in the City. You have to basically ignore them. They cannot even make money themselves & have a 'sell' rating from other brokers. | picobird
26/11/2014 20:44 | Real scheme what's happened to this share. Thought it was going to pick up a few weeks ago. Was mistaken and can't see this getting better any time soon | solanki2000
26/11/2014 03:06 | Ouch Rath sorry to see you catch a cold again. I am keeping my eye on a double bottom as a possible entry point. The recent statement seemed ok so don't expect the share to go lower than the previous low but you never know. | werty5
25/11/2014 17:37 | mbmiah You just read my mind. I was about to post that SPT has caught this 'lurgy' selling spree. The thing is though Anite have a superior clientele in both their own markets of handset testing & network diagnostics. Spirent have problems with Cisco via AT & T a very large client who are changing to 'software' networking from hardware networking. Refer to post 3701. | picobird
25/11/2014 16:01 | Fears over Spirent's decline maybes | mbmiah
25/11/2014 15:20 | The business is on a good growth path. The money will not come again anytime soon so it needs to be kept under tight wraps. Strange the punters are reacting like this especially after a good IMS. | picobird |
