29/9/2016 09:25 | Let's quit this nonsence. How much we can push this grass issue??? Sellin daHerbs. What a geck- is there not enough window sills these days?? Why the hell we need to truck grass from as far as SAR?? Did everyone went nuts??? OK, I see TW loaded up shares way before DL joined the board (and most likely was not able to unload junk), but he is too quiet. As far as DL- well who cares, it is not like he is in another food company already. Oh wait - he is? AFRI? Well, sorta? Kinda? I mean it was one of his faves anyway??? Jabba is smart- oil flopped, so he went looking for greener pastures. Nah, still rubbish. | rwauu
06/9/2016 07:23 | I agree. This market cap is worth less than she'll value and AAAP is no cash shell by the looks of it. And the new Chairman knows his food business. | mug3
05/9/2016 23:50 | The almost totally unknown AEC were down at 1.3p at 1st Sept - they made it to 4.7p paid today. AAAP, fully LSE listed and including today's placing will be 181m shrs - price them at 3p and mkt cap still only a little over £5m. With the experience and names on board here, plenty to go for, imo. f | fillipe

05/9/2016 21:45 | So the placement was at 0.67p and the shares closed at 2.50...Ummm - surely DL doesn't bring a premium of nearly 300%? | cashmachine2
05/9/2016 20:09 | Apfindley may be right, but I doubt it. This company was dead and dying. Now it has a breath of life and someone who can shake things up. If you don't like it. Sell. At least he's making things happen. The price and the volume has arrived. Make your choice. | mug3
05/9/2016 17:38 | Maybe so, but we do start with a fully listed company with 95m shrs, a mkt cap of about only £700k and a very strong share register, prior to today's events. gla! f | fillipe

01/6/2016 09:52 | Just one decent deal and these will be rerated. | cliley454
01/6/2016 09:51 | Last years costs included relocation and modernisation. They will be much less this year. The options are only excerisable when the share price goes up and 12k a year is very modest. They have done a great deal already to make the company successful and can't be expected to work for nothing. No idea what the massive trade was but if they didn't announce a change in holdings then it wasn't a sell, more likely a cross trade. Why list in Joburg when you can list on the main market of the London stock exchange? | cliley454
24/5/2016 19:49 | The company are making modest profits and have over £700K administration expenses, so an ongoing loss-making situation. And the directors have just awarded themselves millions of options plus £12K annual salaries. It's hardly a fortune but why do they deserve anything at this point. And what the hell was the "massive trade" which mysteriously/suspici | cyberbub
24/5/2016 13:39 | They raised 75k last month which tells us 2 things. 1. They are short of cash and 2. They expect positive cash flow shortly. They have a plan to build a large profitable company, hence the relocation, the upgrades and the move to a main market listing. Management are still confident of achieving it and are working on some good deals. | cliley454

07/10/2015 13:32 | 7 October 2015 For Immediate Release Anglo African Agriculture plc ("AAA" or the "Company") Operational update The Board of AAA is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Dynamic Intertrade (Pty) Ltd ("Dynamic"), a food processing and trading operation based in Cape Town South Africa, has completed its Food Safety System Certification ("FSSC") audit which was conducted by SGS between 16-18 September 2015. The SGS audit team has recommended that FSSC certification be granted. It is expected that issuance of the formal certificate will follow in due course. Commissioning of Dynamic's steam sterilizer is completed and Dynamic will soon start offering steam sterilized product to its customers. This will allow Dynamic to supply significantly more customers, particularly in the export market, which require these standards. Trading over the last quarter has been below last year's comparative period due to the impact of moving Dynamic's operation from Brits to Cape Town and as a result of not having these capabilities which have become an industry requirement. The business is now in a much stronger position to grow its sales going forward. Export markets are also expected to open up as the devaluation of the Rand makes the South African cost base very attractive. Andrew Monk, Chairman of AAA commented "FSSC certification and the commissioning of the steam steriliser are positive steps in the development of our food processing operation in Cape Town and allows us to open up new markets and new markets". | cezary
