Thanks laserdisc. I assume there is no value in LIM left for us, or am I reading the runes incorrectly? Good luck all.

Seems to me they and the Court need to know about Kearney and Varma's confessions to fraud in the Minco case as well as filing returns with the Irish registrar of companies for resoltions that were never even put to the shareholders!

And as for Gerald Metals, my contacts are better than theirs!

Thanks laserdisc. I did see the statements and on a quick read it looks as though shareholders will be lucky to get anything back. Cant see the Swedish Grangesberg iron ore project developing at current io prices. I'll hang on for the Parys prospects. Good luck and best wishes to you wherever else you are invested.

HI bodgit not in here but was looking up price forecast for zinc maybe look in here again december 2015 re parys when zinc may start to re rate ie perform as in 2007 ,
for lim LIM had a working capital deficit of $62.2 million all value seems gone gerald may get involved if they see some value for themselves

Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and unaudited financial statements for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2014, available on the Company's website at www.labradorironmines.ca, under the "Financials" section, or on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).

iron ore prices sad even nml with all the tata monies are struggling believe they are trying to get port costs down by $10 a tonne but even that will not help much

Danesh Varma admits he, John Kearney and others are guilty of lying cheating and defrauding investors.

Beaufort Securities are also admitted to be lying to and defrauding investors.

Read from start to finish, and then join me and others in a "Group" Action to recover the millions they have stolen.

I'm going to call the bottom on this, again :) At 4.5m market cap these are way undervalued, even in LIM is written off. Their cash position is poor, but with a little additional cash, presumably from a placement, they will be in a position to sit on their assets and wait until comod prices move in their favour, which of course they will in time. Their cash burn is not very high. Speculative punt up to 6p short term with a 2-3 yr outlook.

Totally agree Marth, though I only occasionally read Private Eye - usually reserved for a bit of humour on long train journeys.

Meanwhile non-ferrous metal prices are unremarkable while punters worry about China - only 7.3% growth - which is being reported as if it is in recession. Or maybe its just Europe thats denting the sentiment. I reckon 7.3% growth in European GDP would be greeted with glee - so its a strange world. But with China consuming 44% of global zinc production, its an important part of the demand side of the equation as Lisheen and Century mines reach end of life. Century in July 2015, Lisheen in October 2015. Perseverance and Brunswick mines have just closed in Canada, Angas in Australia stopped production a year ago, and MMGs Dugald River mine opening has been delayed due to complexities in the ore body. The replacement for Angas - the Oued Amizour mine in Algeria is also delayed due to problems with the joint venture partners.

I would say that it is not a bad time to be sitting on a zinc rich ore body, though I have to admit I am not watching things day by day. At the moment the shares seem fairly worthless, so not worth selling either, just parked in case Parys finally comes to life.

*Crushed* OK WS thanks for kindly providing the info - I just got a bit giddy after listening to some of the dubious assumptions and leaps of logic in that interview and realising that the key evidence seems to be that specialist mining engineers were engaged to do some er, specialist mining.

I do of course support the right to ask awkward questions and I wouldn't be at all surprised if ALL potential UK underground storage locations have been considered for such purposes - it's got to go somewhere after all. However if anyone does uncover a secret 26-year old nuclear dump beneath Parys, I'll pay for free power for the good folks of Anglesey, while eating my hat. (Of course, as you know one definition of a mine is a hole in the ground with a liar next to it...)

Anyway, no offence intended. I'll continue to check my Eye every fortnight from the little boys' room. Glib comment not withdrawn, but aimed at the journalist!

Marth, I have no axe (ax for the yanks) to grind, and no interest in the company, so no matter. I just thought the board ought to know - and given how the share price has drifted.

But, perhaps the glib comments might be best left in the little boys room, where they belong.
