Yes the directors were bunch of AIM thieves but most are. The real trouble here is that the market in Pharmas changed. To save costs everything is now being brought back in house and if something is not an immediate money spinner it is shelved.

Mission accomplished for the evening chaps. Back in the Snowy Owl if anyone is familiar with the area and fancies a pint. Gathered some interesting info and quite amazing really given what has happened here of late.

Going to gather my thoughts and decide if I can assist some of you bulls that have been shafted here. It doesnt have to be this way, and if there is wrongdoing, which I very much suspect there has been, then I think its a cause I'd be happy to get involved in outing those responsible.

Angel announces maiden profit for year ended

31 December 2010





Dr Paul Harper, Chairman of Angel said:

We made our first full year profit, strengthened our balance sheet and built our cash reserves. The successful, over subscribed placement, completed in February, demonstrated investor support for our expansion plans and provided the financial resource needed to expand our business. The capital restructuring proposal hopefully to be implemented this year will further strengthen our business and clear an obstacle to payment of a dividend should this be deemed to be appropriate at some time in the future.

Stay tuned chaps, we are now on the estate, security seems to be quite slack, have posted look outs along the escape route just in case. No cameras , done first drive by, two cars and a caravan parked up, assuming caravan is or was the Russians accommodation. Ok.........

Not bitter in the slightest lol I am fine wouldnt have put more in than i could afford to lose thats for sure and have done ok out of a couple of other companies lately so win some lose some. Not that i like to lose anything even a game of tidly winks :-)

They're all struggling to make anything out of the contract side

Impossible to say how hard the business development guys tried wrt getting new contracts, but there's probably a LOT of competition from Asia or the larger CMOs like Lonza/ Boehringer

Still, there may be scope for selling off some parts
The folk selling off the collagen business did well to get out!
It'll be interesting to see what ABH could fetch via the administrators

Buying time was the only strategy they could try

Buying time COULD have allowed them to get more contracts and survive.
Cramlington gave them a shot at making it
They had NO chance with Pentlands alone, since capacity was used up
