Yes the Chinese will be the top economy in the world. I would be glad to see the USA and their $ dominated currency stuffed.
The Chinese have been working hard and slowly catching up with the USA. They own all the Yanks debit.Some $ Trillions it is too. They also own half of Africa as well now.
So best of luck to the hard workers of this world. India is also going forward too.

Hopefully, someone can PM me the now much discussed article, please. I have been a member since April 2010 but not posted since 2015. Hold a substantial (for me,that is) AMC holding and will be here until the bitter and highly rewarding end!

It surprises me at times that PI's don't know much about resource takeovers.
In Africa the Discovery is normally bought at around 1% of the resource value discovered. Why? Because it is not a safe environment and far to much corruption.
In Russia I would expect 1.5% or 2% payment.

If Jinchuan wanted to buy AMC they would have to pay that amount.
So what is 1.5% of $40Billion. You find that figure, and then divide it with the amount of AMC shares.Covert to ££s and you get the answer. Close to 70P per share.
