Tjate platinum is massive, NPV 1.6bn for part of it (total around NPV 3bn )

roovaro, i was about to post the same.

spot on!

the extra funding is to prepare for "near surface project" (as per RNS) and we all know Tjate first phase is near surface.

and we also know, rehabilitation guarantee is payable on licence. so why raised the money now for the rehabilitation guarantee??

is it because JLP has been informed that all is approved and waiting for Minister signature? and we know Minister has certain meetings for them to review and approve? similar to AMC which russian minister has meeting every every month (or was it every 2 mths), then perhaps the next SA ministry meeting is for JLP? does anyone know when is the next ministry meeting?

April maybe?

SA has seen the proof that JLP can raise funding /debt/equity and have enough cash to complete the current tailing projects, hence increase the confident to DMR that JLP will be able to secure financing/JV partner to make progress in Tjate, be it for production a couple of years to come.

and i suspect those family office (see post in III about family office participate in recent placing, together with ONZ) and other financial institution participated in the recent albeit small placing, as they have been told that licence is imminent? they wont be selling their placing shares, they will be holding it for double digit share price

last opportunity to top up before licence coming I would say

There's one BOGOFF I will be glad to take up. For every rouble of foreign investment we will get the same in government support !
So we will be keeping control of the company for the time being then !! Well at least until the Fund does their bit, and then Norlisk can have us.
