27/7/2016 18:07 | Then again, they may just find that someone farted next to the measuring equipment and the price comes down again once reality sets in ? | strangeman
27/7/2016 17:41 | Point is it wasn't a dog and sound share price is flying up over 150% in past 3 weeks. Once the full extent of the gas find comes out the sky is the limit regarding their share price fastnet knew what was there and had the data to back it up. They just took the decision not to carry on with it. Shame as look where we are today, over 40% down on rip off consolidation share price and miles away from share price when we had Tendrara. | jacksonpollack
27/7/2016 16:14 | To be fair, why would you have bought SOU shares. The Chief Executive of a company in which you are a shareholder and who is essentially employed by you, told you the licence wasn't worth holding on to. As the expression goes, 'you don't keep a dog and bark yourself' (apt in more ways than one I feel!). IB | icebreaker

27/7/2016 12:03 | Yes, Jackson, it looks like Cathal Friel got it wrong. That's the way with O&G exploration; 9 times out of 10 it doesn't lead to anything, but when it does the share price takes off! Still Jackson you, no doubt, didn't make the same mistake as Friel. You saw the value in Tendrara when Friel couldn't and hence you aggressively bought SOU shares when Friel thought Tendrara wasn't worth the effort. Hence, as a consequence, you have probably make a very large profit on your SOU shares over the last month. CONGRATULATIONS, buddy, on your foresight. If only Friel had had your foresight we would still be shareholders in FAST and a lot wealthier. | papillon
26/7/2016 18:42 | Snickerdog. Notice he steered clear of the share price dropping 40%+ and long term shareholders shafted with the laughable 8 for 1 share rip off at 24p. | jacksonpollack

21/7/2016 20:12 | Muppets. Expiry of Tendrara Option Agreement Fri, 2nd Jan 2015 07:00 RNS Number : 0925B Fastnet Oil & Gas PLC 02 January 2015 ? 2nd January 2015 FASTNET OIL & GAS PLC ("Fastnet" or the "Company") EXPIRY OF OPTION AGREEMENT TO FARM INTO THE TENDRARA LAKBIR PETROLEUM AGREEMENT ONSHORE MOROCCO Further to the announcement of 10 December 2014, the board of Fastnet has elected not to exercise the option to farm into the Tendrara Lakbir Licence onshore Morocco. The option expired on 31 December 2014. Carol Law, newly appointed CEO of Fastnet said: "Current market conditions have severely hindered our ability to attract a partner to join Fastnet in the Tendrara opportunity, thus the Board has elected not to exercise the Tendrara Option Agreement. Fastnet has a strong cash balance sheet with over US$18 million in cash. We believe this is the best decision and we will use great discipline in the allocation of our available cash to ensure maximum value for the shareholders. " | jacksonpollack
21/7/2016 17:08 | I'm really surprised that JP hasn't mentioned Sound Energy's success with Tendrara. Fastnet farted around and did nothing with it. James Parsons (another JP!) bought it, and hey presto finds lots of gas. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
21/7/2016 13:20 | Apologies. I see we did pay €11M up front for Birken. (1M on signature + €10M on first regulatory approval for Episalvan). IB | icebreaker
18/7/2016 13:24 | Hi CurryPasty Bit confused! Did we spend all of the cash we had (Fastnet) on the acquisitions? Thought our cash balance would be higher than just that raised from the placing. Thanks IB | icebreaker
