23/6/2015 11:36 | timbo - the value of motif shares will probably drop to closer to the 50p placement price though | mr woodentop
23/6/2015 11:31 | 50% discount seems about right for highly illiquid shares in private/illiquid companies | the stigologist
23/6/2015 11:26 | >>>Mr w No that's not the case. Amphion's % holding in Motif is reduced, the number of shares they hold in Motif is not reduced. The value of their Motif holding is the number of Motif shares they hold multiplied by the Motif share price. | timbo003
23/6/2015 11:13 | Need to recalculate now Motif have announced their placing. AMP shareholding is substantially reduced | mr woodentop
23/6/2015 11:06 | I see year end results are out today. At last we will be able to see a more up to date view of where all the debt and liabilities are. NAV/share at Dec 31st was 0.7p/share NAV/share at June 19th was 10p/share (post placing) Motif share price was around 60p/share on June 19th, its now around 65p, so that adds another £1.4M to the market cap, with just under 200M shares in issue that corresponds to around 0.7p/share (every 7p change in Motif corresponds to a 1p change in AMP NAV/share). Therefore NAV/share is approximately 11p/share, so at 6.75p/share they are trading on a discount or around 40%. Post edited to correct numbers used in penultimate paragraph, revised numbers in blue | timbo003

15/6/2015 07:55 | Great post! 21trader 14 Jun'15 - 09:56 - 517708 of 517784 5 5 Morning flops. Funny how Amp is suddenly "massively undervalued" when you buy in but when out. TOPINFO - 05 Jun 2015 - 07:12:47 - 515656 of 517708 I tried to say to you guys ramping AMP (AW particularly you) that they have big liabilities. AMP-Placing at 5.25p Rns TOPINFO - 03 Jun 2015 - 19:14:39 - 515129 of 517708 AW AMP has over £15 million in liabilities. Best way to play MTFB is MTFB. Ive been telling yas all about it all the way from 25p upwards. I even told you last week at 38p and its almost doubled again just since tnen. I did say AMP at 3p but AMP stake is worth alot but you have to account for the huge liabilities whereas MTFB dont have any, so NAV AMP even after MTFB rise minus liabilities is still probably only about 6p by my reckoning. Just be aware! Tops 21trader 14 Jun'15 - 09:58 - 517709 of 517784 6 4 So AMP NAV is about 6p according to you but now at 7.5p it's "massively undervalued" lol Get out of that one. ps..I hold Amp..well until about 8.15 in the morning I will be out. | 65jack
15/6/2015 07:48 | Topinfo any comments on ANGM ACTA NBU appreciated guys ? also does anybody know where one can buy lots of cheap Sudocrem in the Hull area ? | sorearsesforus
15/6/2015 02:40 | Yea over the last 3 years I have traded AMP whenever I felt there was an opportunity to make a turn, to reduce my losses on my initial purchase of 10000 shares on coming to market in August 2005 and now I have a substantial holding which is well in profit. As to imagescan, I am not aware of mentioning it, which I know nothing about and I have not taken time to research into it, feeling diversified enough with just holding shares in AMP. The lesson I have learned from my experience with AMP is to recognize quality and have faith in this quality situation. I am glad I made an impact with my messages. | a1samu

14/6/2015 22:41 | Is this the same a1samu who was very negative about amp some years ago, and who dissed amp and kromek and recommended another companies scanner system? What of that other company ? Imagescan. Perhaps things have changed since then. Amp clearly seems the winner. | escapetohome |
