08/12/2016 07:11 | Playing safe I suppose, anyway today's update easily vindicates Finncap's take. | paleje
06/12/2016 15:45 | Given that's over 17% over today's share price I don't see why his recommendation wasn't still 'Buy'. | simonsaid1
06/12/2016 15:24 | ST small piece on them today saying run profits and noting Finncap's 200p target which he seemed happy with. | paleje
29/11/2016 09:56 | Might be enough to nudge the share price over resistance at 170p before the next trading update which is likely to be rather positive, 45% of revenue is from the US which is where the strong growth is at this time, and the FX rates will assist. | interceptor2
29/11/2016 09:50 | No RNS but a positive announcement this morning: Amino Technologies PLC Com Net selects Amino's FUSION "IoT" solution 29/11/2016 9:00am RNS Non-Regulatory Com Net selects Amino's FUSION "IoT" solution for multi-operator rollout Amino, leader in hybrid TV and cloud solutions, has secured a contract win with North American IPTV service provider Com Net Inc (CNI) to roll out Amino's FUSION "Internet of Things" (IoT) solution across CNI's network of over 20 locally-focused operators. CNI was originally established as a collaboration between 17 independent local exchange companies (ILECs) in Ohio and has now grown its ownership base to 21 ILECs, one electrical cooperative and a number of others across the U.S.. CNI acts as both hosting and service provider via its fibre network underpinned by quality of service solutions and a commitment to delivering leading edge services to its partners and customers. Initially, CNI will deploy FUSION to four operators including: Ottoville Mutual Telephone Company, Bascom Communications, Farmers Mutual Telephone Company and Sycamore Telephone Company, with plans to offer the service across its entire operator customer base immediately thereafter. CNI now hosts FUSION Home Monitor, a simple, consumer self-install Wi-Fi device, which is a key element of the FUSION IoT platform, offering operators a revenue share model enabling them to effectively monetize the IoT platform with several flexible consumer subscription models. CNI will also manage the accompanying cloud-based subscriber management system and operator-branded mobile and web applications for all the operators. FUSION Home Monitor was designed by Amino from the ground up specifically for operators - providing a converged service application that is deeply integrated across mobile, broadband and TV services. Amino CEO Donald McGarva said: "Locally-focused operators are some of the most innovative players in the market - taking a lead in areas like fiber-to-the-home and now home automation. CNI has a great reputation for quality of service and bringing new services to the market and we look forward to working closely with them on this new deployment." CNI BOS General Manager Aaron Holtz added: "Our ability to provide the highest quality communication offering to local providers is found in the company's commitment to operate its network and service with integrity - and to be an early adopter of new and innovative voice, video and Internet access and data applications. "We see growing demand for IoT solutions that are compelling in their simplicity but also have the operator tools to deploy quickly and manage effectively. FUSION offers this end-to-end capability and is highly attractive to operators seeking to access the high growth home management and monitoring market." Ends | eagle eye

20/10/2016 18:16 | for the record (1651) a headwind blows against the direction of the object's intended path. This is a following wind or as correctly stated in the final paragraph of the comment a tailwind. But this has been a terrific recommendation and still seems to have errr some wind in its sails. | srichardson8
20/10/2016 18:06 | Good to see a continuing breakout from a nice cup with handle formation. | interceptor2
20/10/2016 10:05 | Added to my holding. Nice breakout. | cfro
20/10/2016 09:11 | Not RNS-worthy but certainly positive, presentation at end of month too, they seem to be getting their act together quietly and competently. ST reiterated his buy tip on Tuesday:- Amino Technologies (AMO:149p), the Cambridge-based provider of digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, internet TV and in-home multimedia distribution, is a good example as the company has significant overseas exposure. Indeed when I last updated the investment case in the summer I noted that “with more than half of first-half revenue derived from North America, and almost a third from Europe, sterling's sharp devaluation since June is likely to provide a strong currency headwind on translation of overseas earnings” (‘Taking profits, and running gains’, 8 Aug 2016). And that’s exactly what has happened as the company has just announced that favourable exchange rate markets, and record order intake in August, means that it will beat earnings expectations for the 12 months to the end of November 2016. This news prompted analyst Andrew Darley at broking house finnCap to raise his revenue estimates by around 5 to 6 per cent to £73m and hike pre-tax profits and EPS estimates by 9 per cent to £9.5m and 12.2p, respectively. The forecast 10 per cent rise in the dividend per share to 6.1p is covered two times over by likely earnings, and also by expectations of a higher end of year cash pile of £5.2m, implying a prospective dividend yield of 4 per cent. And with these positive effects feeding through to later years, Mr Darley has also upgraded his 2017 revenue estimate by 6 per cent to £77.4m and lifted his pre-tax profit and EPS forecasts by 9 per cent to £10.5m and 12.9p, respectively, to support a dividend of 6.7p a share. On this basis, Amino’s shares are rated on a forward PE ratio of a little over 11 and offer a chunky 4.5 per cent prospective dividend yield, a very attractive rating for a cash rich company benefiting from strong orders inflow and a currency tailwind. | paleje
20/10/2016 08:16 | More news with a positive slant from the website: | hyperboreus
10/10/2016 12:05 | Small mention todays IC:- Shares in Amino Technologies (AMO) jumped 7 per cent in early trading after the video-streaming specialist guided towards full-year revenues and cash profits ahead of market expectations. Management cited record orders in August and beneficial currency movements. We keep our buy rating. | paleje
10/10/2016 11:12 | So, is it still worth topping up at 150gbx? This is one of my favourite stocks right now, very nice to have a robust company with an understandable product, organic growth and a clear reason for its rally. Makes a pleasant change from some of the tat I've bought. | simonsaid1 |
