Decent trading update in line with numbers except cash which is ahead, and looks like they've got the sales team sorted .. "now being driven by a unified and expanded sales team with encouraging early market traction and improved pipeline visibility".

Worth shorting this one, entone aquistion should have a shown much higher combined revenues for second half. I estimate the revenues shows a -14% decline in combined revenues. Would not like to be holding this baby in 6 months time.

Thanks for your explanation lignum.

I also noticed the line related to Entone, and that if they had acquired it earlier in the financial year, then revs would have been significantly higher, but PTP would be £53k. This is strange so would need to be checked/clarified. I don't hold AMO either, but have it on my w/list. I agree with your point re being dependent on Entone and integration risk. For the time being I'm happy to sit on the sidelines, as I don't think risk/reward is in my favour if I was to buy in, given the current markets. If I already held from lower down, I'd continue to hold, and see what happens.

Lignum,

It's even starker if you just take H2

2014 H2 Amino £19.8m

2015 H2 Total £23.8 - £15.2 Entone - £1.4 Boox = £7.2m Amino (var - £12.6m)

Hastings - couple of adds to your article;
The £68m of FY16 revenues compares to Fy15 of £64m (Amino 25, Entone 36, Boox 3). This isn't unachievable but shows how dependent Amino now is on Entone and the execution risk of integration is very high i.e. screw up the integration and the share price will collapse.

The FY15 earnings are meaningless as there were so many adjustments - which I would not be surprised to see in Fy16 also. I'm also intrigued by the last note in the announcement

"If the acquisition of Entone Inc. had been completed on the first day of the financial year, group revenues for the period would have been £61,061k and group profit after tax would have been £53k." Entone contributed £2434k to post acquisition profits (4 months to end November) so presumably pre acquisition 8 months they lost £2.4m? How does that work?

Imranawan - 2015 revenues 41.7m v 2014 revenues 36.2m so + 5.5m.
However 2015 includes Boox and Entone and right at the end in the notes it states that Boox contributed £1.4m of revenues and Entone £15.2m. There were no other acquisition effects so Amino standalone revenues were 41.7 - 1.4 - 15.2 = 25.1m v 36.2m in 2014 i.e. -11.1m (or c 30%).

The company has reported the bare minimum information required but when its full report comes out it will need to show the full comparison of continuing v acquired businesses.

I am no longer a holder.

lignum, how did you calculate that standalone revs were down by 10m+, as the only segmental breakdown is based on geographical segments as opposed to business units.

Am not a holder, but just researching AMO.

Regards,
Imran.

Final Results -

"The Board is pleased to recommend a full year dividend to 5.5p, up 10% on 2014, and we are pleased to reaffirm the Company's progressive dividend policy of no less than 10% growth per annum up to and including the year ending November 2016.

Subject to shareholder approval at the annual general meeting to be held on 23 March 2016, the dividend will be payable on 29 April 2016, to shareholders on the register at 8 April 2016, with a corresponding ex-dividend date of 7 April 2016."

Nice to see reaffirmation of the progressive dividend policy. That makes a minimum 6.05p payable for the current FY2015/16.

They do persist with this slightly baffling policy of only quoting the full year dividend in their final results + not specifying the amount of the final dividend payable, leaving it for us to work it out for ourselves. Not the most transparent!

5.50p for the full year 2014/15 less the 1.265p interim paid in Sept 2015 means a final payment of 4.235p on 29 April 2016.

EDIT - My apologies to Amino. The final payment is actually stated in the rns, although it is buried lower down in the results for some reason under the sub-heading Equity...

"Subject to shareholder approval at the Company's AGM on 23 March 2016, the final dividend of 4.235p will be payable on 29 April 2016 to shareholders on the register on 8 April 2016. The ex-dividend date is 7 April 2016."

There's some background info regards the FD leaving for what I suspect are work/life balance issues.

In 2014 she took maternity leave, in 2015 she took a leave of absence and today it's announced she has left the company. The interim FD has signed off the accounts so I suspect she's not been at work for several months.

I agree the H2 standalone revenues are poor, they were highlighted with last years profit warning though and changes have been adopted. A close eye on the standalone revenues going forwards is certainly required.

On the basis that most tech shares reporting anything are having their share price trashed at the moment I'll take this report. Nice 5.5% divi on way too and muted reaction so happy to hold (am more chilled than some as bought after last years drop)
