02/3/2017 09:17 | This should be blue if solo is blue today. Either it's mm games or currently overvalued. I think it's mm's though. Good Luck all | nsk1

02/3/2017 09:08 | tidy 2, you are aware that they lose 15% of KN-1 in December if they don't drill any more exploration wells? Have you checked the accounts to see if the cash flow will do anything other than keep the lights on and give Jay and the BoD a nice little earner? | ngms27
02/3/2017 09:04 | Ngm still banging on about funding. Keep at it maybe one day in the future they will and you can say your a genius. In the mean time tho let them continue to rake in $900k pm from kiliwani allowing them debt free, then let them continue to make profit whilst they go on day to day | tidy 2
02/3/2017 08:55 | Mr Haggis, Thank you for your opinions and for clearing that up for all here. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
02/3/2017 08:55 | Why would TPDC pay to link up Ntorya now given: a) There is obviously currently no demand for the Gas b) Ntorya doesn't have a production license, that will likely take 6 months to a year judging by past experience c) What exactly will Aminex hold on to after license expiry in December? They have renegotiated several times now and the last deal was put as the last chance saloon and yet again they have failed to deliver on obligations There is only one course of action that benefits PI shareholders. Raise monies and drill out the prospects. | ngms27
02/3/2017 08:50 | Greyingsurfer, it's you that's in la-la-land, try reading my posts again, I NEVER said N1 and N2 would be producing in 6 months!!!! I said connected, I NEVER said anything about production levels. Also, I am saying (quite clearly in reply to Litho) that there won't be any dilution during the current well programme covering N1, N2 and N3, I NEVER mentioned the subsequent wells because Litho wasn't talking about that far ahead. | haggismchaggis
02/3/2017 08:34 | Litho, private investors are not amoeba, on the contrary, we use our brains to be ahead of the market, unfortunately we are always the last to get out at our cost. These bulletin boards give opportunities to PI's to share knowledge and ideas way to get ahead of people trying to take hard earned cash in the most aggressive way. Finding multi tcf is not the same as multi bcf. Haggis, post 61442 is more like what we all would like, and that will be great for us and AEX. | berber1
02/3/2017 08:34 | Litho, there won't be any dilution, we are fully funded. (can't say the same for SOLO however)Aminex has 4 more wells to drill this year, or renegotiate or lose the licence over the rest of Ruvuma. It is not fully funded for that.Talking of N-1/N-2 being linked and producing in 6 months is La-La land, and shows you've understood nothing of the gas demand situation in Tanzania. KN-1 has been linked and commissioned for some time but is producing at under capacity because demand has yet to catch up.Demand will come, but it will take years. Better, if the N-2 interpretation is successful, to keep working on the big prospects, and build up the potential reserves. That may need dilution, but funds could be raised now at 4-5 times the price of the last placing, and 4-5 time less dilution for each £ raised. I've never understood those who want to cling to a large part of something small instead of understanding that it's better to have a smaller part of something bigger. Of course funds could also be raised in other ways, I'm not advocating placings and offers as the only route, but they shouldn't be ruled out, or seen as a bad thing. Debt can also create big problems.Peter | greyingsurfer
02/3/2017 08:32 | Mr Haggis, My current take is there will for now be no further dilution, I have only been in AEX since 15 Feb 2017. I bought in @ 4.83p since then added in 2 more tranches. I have held Solo for some time and well in profit there, they are currently my biggest investment in my portfolio and I have not traded either SOLO or AEX. Both are mid to long term investments for me. The share price IMHO now will climb as of today, test results from NT-2 could come anytime from today up until mid March, hopefully! If and it is only and if there is going to be a placing, it will come after NT-3 is drilled and tested. ATB, GD | greatfull dead

02/3/2017 07:53 | Litho, the way it's most likely to work, like >99% likely in my book, is that Aminex will make the well production ready, TPDC will pay for and install the spur to the Madimba gas processing plant, just as they did for Kiliwani. While the pipeline is being procured and installed (6 months?), AEX will drill N3 as planned in June, then do a workover of N1 in time for the pipeline connection. Once N3 is drilled, if it hits gas, TPDC will have the option to continue the spur from N2 to N3, before the gas from N2 and N1 is connected up.AEX will not raise any funds to do the above, it won't need to, it's already done that. | haggismchaggis
02/3/2017 07:34 | Litho, there won't be any dilution, we are fully funded. (can't say the same for SOLO however) | haggismchaggis
02/3/2017 07:33 | Something else that's being missed in gas calculations going forward is CNG. Tanzania imports CNG. Tanzania wants to convert more gas to CNG not only to cut imports but also to increase the use of CNG as a fuel for cars. Here's another interesting presentation for you.http://www.sanec | haggismchaggis
02/3/2017 07:32 | indeed it has happened so often i should change my name ti Lithological H2O Geneities. | lithological heterogeneities
02/3/2017 07:30 | i hope/think you are right about the Zubs back up...but years of being diluted to death before big news makes mea rather old, tired and cynical investor.i will be exceptionally annoyed if it happens again here as i am tired of being diluted. | lithological heterogeneities
02/3/2017 06:30 | lithological heterogeneities, "sadly, when big news is due, even if a company is not in need of money they often carry out a placing to let their city mates in on the cheap at the expense of us amoeba" morning lithological, i don't think that is so likely now that we have the Zubair Corporation on-board, who hold nearly 30% of Aminex and would most certainly not like to see that holding diluted. And yes "production and revenues first" JB has stated many times he wants to see production led growth. | blackgold00
02/3/2017 05:23 | i diasagree.production and revenues first to reduce future shareholder dilution then raise funds at a much higher price.sadly, when big news is due, even if a company is not in need of money they often carry out a placing to let their city mates in on the cheap at the expense of us amoeba. seen it so many times over the past 22 years.would not surprise me here either before the news. i hope it doesnt hapen this time as i am sick of dilution before big news to let city mstes in. | lithological heterogeneities
02/3/2017 00:04 | My understanding of AEX's RNS did specify going into production rather than continue exploration, I hope it is not the case. It will be nice to produce and continue aggressive exploration. The RNS was very short with no details, which was disappointing as it did trigger a sell off. I believe the market wants AEX to continue exploring. I hope the next RNS will be much more clearer. ngms27 what are your return criteria(if you do not mind) | berber1
01/3/2017 18:24 | Odvod, I never visited Slovenia. It's my opinion that the current wells will not be capable of producing at the rates tested for longer than a few months. They are both vertical single stage fracked in low permeability reservoir. The one that produced the good flow rate intersected a fault by design (if my memory is correct) to try and produce a better outcome. It did. None of the wells have been tested for any meaningful period of time, therefore they are unproven. Look at the well history on the acreage, though admittedly they weren't fracked and used a different mud regime.Wells such as these tend to give up the majority of there hydrocarbons in a matter of months then materially decline and produce at a much lower level for years governed by the matrix permeability. It remains my opinion that they need horizontal wells with multi staged fracks to produce commercially. A member of the BoD a number of years ago suggested to me that this was indeed the most likely outcome. Therefore I will be pleasantly surprised if the wells produce to the current set expectations over time.Note this is my personal opinion and is why I will not be purchasing any AST shares. | ngms27
