28/2/2017 19:40 | Regarding demand the prospectus cites hopes for an early production system up and running within twelve months delivering to industrial partners. The Dangote cement controversy in the press seems to have put a big question mark over that. As far as a direct connection to the pipeline from Ntorya I'd agree it is likely it will be 2020s before we see that... but it's March 2017. I'm fine with that! Although demand is forecast to outstrip supply in 2018 so it will certainly be an interesting next few years. | bunbooster2

28/2/2017 19:36 | So Jim, if you've sold out why are you still here? | haggismchaggis
28/2/2017 19:32 | And I hope you do! Just tone down the incessant ramping eh | jimbobaroony
28/2/2017 19:32 | Jimbo, I was referring to the fact that he claims he held for 6 years, to then sell two weeks before results of the biggest drill in the companies history. Doesn't sound genuine to me. If you've only held for a few months then fair enough. | kryptonsnake
28/2/2017 19:22 | I'll be on 20x before I sell any of these, and I'll get it. | haggismchaggis
28/2/2017 19:05 | Why funny? | jimbobaroony
28/2/2017 18:58 | There is nothing wrong with banking a 3x profit in 3 months. Get real | jimbobaroony
28/2/2017 18:56 | I'm still worried about the perforations that Geraldo has discussed. I know that valuable/collectible postage stamps are generally considered to be much more valuable if they do not have perforations. Is the same thing true about oil wells? If so has AEX compromised the value of its assets? Should I be worrying about post marks? | tournesol
28/2/2017 18:21 | Lmao you would do that (if it was true) if you were clueless. There are big orders being filled here. The pressures are immense and the flows will astound. I have info ! | tidy 2
28/2/2017 18:18 | Seriously though? Why would you hold for 6 years, then sell before results that could be game changing for the company? lol | kryptonsnake
28/2/2017 18:15 | odvod, to quote tidy2, as if you even held any shares here! Nobody is allowed to sell! And if you post that you have sold you are telling lies lol. | kryptonsnake
28/2/2017 18:10 | sold good by after 6 years | odvod
28/2/2017 18:07 | Do we have any mud engineers here? | tidy 2
28/2/2017 17:08 | GD - As you say, a very improbable scenario! ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
28/2/2017 17:06 | thegreatgeraldo, A very improbable scenario. AEX do a placing to finance the construction of their own gas fired power station! A very off the wall thought on my part. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
28/2/2017 16:59 | "Personally I believe it's the 2020's before Ntorya produces any meaningful revenue." And so does Aminex believe that - if you go to p51 of last Summer's Prospectus you will see that a spur pipeline is expected to be in the "long term" which in oiliespeak puts it comfortably into the 2020s. If, and it still remains a large "IF", AEX do find multi TFCs in Ruvuma that will certainly still interest larger players who can take a much longer term view in their planning. And it still should be remembered that it's Tanzania and that AEX are at the behest of TPDC. | warbaby43
28/2/2017 16:59 | "Nah, you're a bit muddled......" thanks. "my chicken & egg reference was referring to generating capacity & demand for its output" gerald, 1. Tanzania now have substantial cheep onshore gas reserves in-place, 2, we also now have the gas infrastructure in place so growth will come, its a bit like gravity, and with out those two we wouldn't be here even discussing this now. got to go dinner is ready | blackgold00
28/2/2017 16:44 | Nah, you're a bit muddled...... my chicken & egg reference was referring to generating capacity & demand for its output | thegreatgeraldo
28/2/2017 16:42 | thegreatgeraldo, "Let's assume a gas power station could be fast tracked - where's the urgent demand for the electricity to persuade somebody to finance it? Think we're into chicken & egg territory!" I don't think so gearld, i would say, that the chicken has laid the egg and it has hatched, and it has now got plenty of energy to grow and grow it will. | blackgold00
