13/8/2016 08:08 | blackgold - I suspected as much. No judgement here. You're welcome in the community. | bunbooster2
13/8/2016 07:18 | The final paras indicate the amount Tanzania spends on oil imports which are likely to be mainly of refined product given the absence of any large refinery. | warbaby43
13/8/2016 06:54 | Whats wrong with being (carefree and happy) Bun, yes the 70s etc, the fantastic music of Bowie so new and so fresh, yes we were carefree and happy to experiment to the extent of foolishness, i mean what on earth were we doing sniffing Zoff. | blackgold00
13/8/2016 04:29 | I thought I was the only one checking the Boards at these small hours Bun! I think I like your humour, although I'm not sure I'm on the same page as you yet! That's one of those things you understand immediately after meeting someone.. it's difficult to know on here however! I have no useful info on Aminex so this could be considered out-of-thread, berate me as you will... ;p P.S. I oversubscribed in the latest open offer, I'm liking the lay of the land.. and I now own half a nodding donkey I reckon! ;p | jpodtrading
12/8/2016 22:07 | Hmmph..I just re-read my last post and I sound very, very gay. I never thought I could pull that off. Pull that off indeed. | kevjones2
12/8/2016 19:05 | aah, thanks for that Kev | blackgold00
12/8/2016 18:43 | I felt compelled to vote for KevJones2's last post, where he felt similarly compelled to rein in his enthusiasm for distinguishing between rain and reign. Perhaps it was the blue hue(hew, hugh, huw?) to the AEX share price today which affected (effected?) my judg(e?)ment. :-) PS I too am jesting. I may not always share KJ2's view on share prospects (he's generally right unfortunately!) but I suspect that he is, in fact, quite a decent chap. | lfdkmp
12/8/2016 17:33 | It's a good standard. Hoping Tanzy Gov doesn't stick. | gerryjames
12/8/2016 17:20 | Blackgold, it was a poor jest. I teach semi-literate and/or illiterate people reading and writing. I deplore people slagging off others when the latter are just expressing themselves. In your case your English is so good I was comfortable joking about it. | kevjones2
12/8/2016 17:17 | "if the Tanzy Gov hadn't gone ahead when they did and invested the large sums on the infrastructure..." BG can I remind you it was the Chinese who in exchange for relaxed ivory trade and shark fin, built a pipe. Not the Tanzy wanzy woo Gov. This lot have money to do nothing, are full of it and easily bought. Things may change. Ref; SP | gerryjames
12/8/2016 17:09 | thanks Kev | blackgold00
12/8/2016 15:21 | yes agree Bun, and strangely enough the reverse is also true, the lower the market cap (market capitalisation) the lower the share price. i loved maths at school, yes i found an order and certainty in the cauculations that helped me through some chaotic years of my youth, unlike English and spelling where total confusion rained and which i never got to grips with until Mr Google came along, words that sounded the same but for some rule or reason had to be spelt differently. there their they're never mind. and apparently you can't say spelt. | blackgold00
12/8/2016 14:55 | The higher the market cap (market capitalisation) the higher the share price though. There are pros and cons to each approach. | bunbooster2
12/8/2016 12:18 | "Amount of shares in issue is irrelevant, its the market cap" well c31161, they are relevant, because you need to know the quantity to work out the market cap. | blackgold00
12/8/2016 12:10 | Vike1, yes, if the Tanzy Gov hadn't gone ahead when they did and invested the large sums on the infrastructure, then surly Aminex and us wouldn't be here today, though i do feel it was the large off-shore discovery's that first prompted and made way for that large funding capital needed for the infrastructure. yes all in all i think we are in a rather unique situation. | blackgold00
12/8/2016 10:21 | A 500000 BUY just before 10am and the volume is currently 2.3 million. | 888icb
12/8/2016 08:48 | warbaby, thanks for sharing the video. very interesting. His comments seemed very positive on the TZ approach of 'build it an they will come.' Shows how unique the TZ situation is. It's a rare example of a govt building the infrastructure first then needing the explorers to catch up. Don't know of anywhere else in the world that's done that. | vike1
12/8/2016 07:41 | Amount of shares in issue is irrelevant, its the market cap | c31161
11/8/2016 21:17 | "given the number of shares now in issue I think AEX are in a rather bad spot .." When mentioning all the additional shares in issue, it's noticeable that it was not simultaneously pointed out the absence of a (deep/indeed any) discount to effect the placing. We now have the cash and the backing of some really big players, cash about to be received for Kiliwani gas, extensions for drilling in Ruvuma, realistic potential for deliverables for the remainder of this year and next - - and yet this is still portrayed as being negative. | lfdkmp
11/8/2016 17:23 | This was posted on the BLVN board by hazydaisy a few weeks ago and while some of the presentaion is BLVN specific, much of it is on the Africa and its gas story with the Tanzanian situation being mentioned in the final few minutes of the piece. | warbaby43
11/8/2016 11:02 | it wouldn't take to much to see the share price move on a tad, fore all the shares now in issue there's hardly any being traded, viscosity comes to mind, if anyone at the moment wanted these in a substantial number i don't know what they would have to pay | blackgold00 |
