My understanding is that Orca won't hook up until all monies owed are paid in full. Thats what I call a standoff and may take years if ever to resolve.

Cement Factories are quite big users of Gas:
Tanzania: Chinese Plan U.S.$12.5 Million White Cement Plant in Lindi

After all it was China who built the pipeline?

I'd be surprised if Orca are not hooked up before their gas is needed to keep the processing plant operational.

ngms "given the 23mmscfpd hurdle rate and the fact that Orca aren't hooked up, are in dispute and owed monies and make more from using the old pipeline / facilities."

At the moment I think it unwise to consider ANY cashflow from KN-1 past 18 months perhaps 24 at a push given the 23mmscfpd hurdle rate and the fact that Orca aren't hooked up, are in dispute and owed monies and make more from using the old pipeline / facilities.

stinkypeet,

Even if KN-1 did produce for 10 years (not a chance in my opinion) using Aminex's own presentations which are likely bullish as they are unaudited, any gas flowing after 3 years is going to be very minimal. Thus any revenue from year 3 onwards is likely to be swallowed up by OPEX.

Thus unless KN-1 is very materially larger than 28BCF what you suggest is complete and utter Taurus Merde.

Yes, ngms on the 5 year projection in the latest corporate presentation that is true but this projection is based on industry standards and experience of comparable gas fields have provided a life span of 10 years, typically...... Difficult to "hang your hat on" I grant you - but I suspect that it will ultimately yield more than $35m

KN-1 will only produce around $35m cash flow before its depleted. So I'd think no one would pay more than $20m for KN-1.

I disagree warbaby you could make a case for KN1 alone being worth $52m - which effectively means that but for the $9m ARGO loan you would get Ruvuma for free ....

Not a bad bet I would say.

2p would, even at presently depressed sterling, equate to $52m - would any self-respecting larger oilie pay $50m+ for Aminex? Unlikely, I would suggest, unless they don't mind being laughed at by their peers.

Volume over 6 million and a number of decent trades going through this morning.
The current market Cap is only £26 million so there is plenty of upside and 2p has to be the short term target.

This will only see 2p when Ntorya drilling is scheduled and funded.

Dont worry about me. I closed a couple of tranches on the way up at 1.10. I expect this rise to peak out at 1.4 to 1.5, and will adjust for that.

Made an absolute killing on Restaurant Group. One of the few to be short at 675p, targeted 520 then 300 and now its 260. Also rode WSG on the back of its pump and dump from 25 to 8p in 6 mnths.

I am good at identifying total dog shares. Aminex will follow back to normal action in due course.

Sorry, wrong board. GLA AEX holders, is this dog about to start wagging its tail. Let's get some cash flow & drill some exciting wells in Ruvuma. At least rig costs are rock bottom right now..

Well they both have a certain whiff about them and you have to be absolutely barking to listen to the BOD with either of them.
