14/12/2015 12:57 | ng - I thought you had purchased some? | dunderheed
14/12/2015 12:46 | Anyone holding here is getting what they deserved. Management full of hot air and the Jam tomorrow. But Paul Weller never comes, instead you are down in a tube station at midnight | ngms27
14/12/2015 12:36 | I'm holding too but hovering over sell icon don't know how much more pain I can take | juuunx2
14/12/2015 12:14 | This looks like capitulation to me - however based on my track record lately - it will probably shoot up now. I am still holding as tbh as criticised as the ceo chap is - he does own an awful lot of AEX - albeit at cheaper prices but feel he could lose big time on this as well? | dunderheed
14/12/2015 11:14 | getting close to target buy price of 0.99 pence | nerdofsteel
14/12/2015 07:38 | Massive climb imminent imo. Just before the apocalypse. Reading chart, tea leaves and tarrot card. ouija board out of order at the moment, out for repair, something it bot having a left Falange. Hope its back before the apocalypse. | duxy786
12/12/2015 09:36 | Probably far more imminent than a GSA. Anyway, I'd know where to find His Eternal Impotence. He'd be sharing his nephew TipTop's bench in Billericay Park, discussing the next great calamity | skinwalker
12/12/2015 08:49 | Apocalypse......c'mo Well, if I hear it on this board, I'll rest easy in my bed for a while. | lfdkmp
12/12/2015 02:02 | This is all very fanciful. Why would he be riding a horse? Is that even allowed in the City? It's certainly impractical. Some of you are living in fantasy land. | bunbooster2
11/12/2015 21:39 | Sadly, that kind of thing only happens in the movies... | skinwalker
11/12/2015 20:09 | .....and then if he were to return, on a black stallion called Bowleven, at the head of an irresistible force, laying waste to all who would be short. I can already see the battered and bruised SP, rising phoenix-like to new heights. Epic. | lfdkmp
11/12/2015 19:47 | What is the likelihood I wonder of logging in one morning and learning that our leader, His Eternal Impotence, has gone missing? Done a runner, absconded, and in hiding somewhere. Would that be the final straw for our already battered and bruised SP? | skinwalker
11/12/2015 17:46 | 1. Happy Xmas, Edgar. 2. Marnewton, so I was right again. Basically no support between 1.5p and 1p. Fibonacci is a load of tosh. 3. Dead cat bounce before a further fall on Monday I reckon Have a good weekend all. Rossannan, hope you're thanking your lucky stars you didn't buy back in too early | dan_the_epic

11/12/2015 12:12 | Tanzania to build Region's largest Gas-fired Power Plant; Export Power by 2017 [in Mtwara] US-based Symbion Power LLC, is currently looking for partners in the construction of a $1.3 billion (about Sh2.7 trillion) power plant in Mtwara that will see Tanzania exporting electricity to a number of countries in the region. Speaking after attending the Powering Africa conference on Friday, the Symbion chief executive officer, Mr Paul Hinks said the envisaged gas-powered plant will produce 600 MW. He said the project is set to begin in 2017. “Under this major power project, Tanzania is set to export electricity to the neighbouring countries of Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Burundi and Rwanda. It will be the biggest gas-powered plant in the region,” he said. He said the project funded by the US government will be undertaken in two phases. The first phase will entail construction of a 400MW gas-powered plant while the remaining 200MW will be made available under the second phase. “We are currently discussing with potential partners to develop the power plant. Next year will be a busy year for soliciting project partners,” he said. The deputy managing director for Tanzania Electric Supply Company (Tanesco), Mr Declan Mhaiki, said such a project was intended to establish a strong business in electricity exports that will see Tanzania earning foreign currency through trading in electricity. He said upon completion of the project, shortage of electricity will be a thing of the past in Tanzania. “This project is very good for our economy as we expect to export electricity in large quantities to neignbouring countries….we will be able to earn substantially in foreign exchange,” he stressed. Speaking during the conference a number of international investors were optimistic that the country has huge investment opportunities in the energy sector. They said Tanzania possesses almost all sources of energy, ranging from renewable and non-renewable options. The non-renewable sources include biomass, natural gas, coal, hydro-power and nuclear power, while the renewable sources include solar, geothermal and wind energy. hxxp://www.jamiiforu | edgar222
11/12/2015 12:06 | I am just about to go away until January. Some sun and Christmas cheer with old friends may be what the Doctor ordered. But only if he is not an expert in diet and nutritional health. I remain optimistic. People will realise in due course that the Bowleven deal was transformational. Saved our balance sheet and confirmed that other company geologists choose our assets above all the other ones being hawked around out there. The geology was why I came aboard all those years ago and that has not changed. The Tanzanian cabinet is now appointed so there is someone to sign the damn GSA thing now. Drilling in new year. Cash flow coming in. Capital cash coming in via Solo's further purchase. Did I say drilling? Of a massive prospect (massive in comparison to our market cap but (IMHO) by any yardstick). Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a happy festive season and a profitable new year. No reason any of you should believe me as this could have been said at any New Year for the last several, but 2016 really will be our year. GLA | edgar222
11/12/2015 11:43 | Good old Malcy, ever the winsome one. | jacks13
11/12/2015 11:31 | From todays Malcy blog. "With no sign yet of a GSA and word that things are slowly happening in Tanzania, I took the opportunity yesterday to have a coffee with Jay Bhattacherjee, CEO of Aminex. Whilst there is much going on, especially with the recent Bowleven deal I can understand his frustration that things have been moving so slowly but they do say that in Africa things move very at snails pace. Given that the market is still waiting for news I can also understand investor impatience but I dont get the impression that there are panic stations and I know that Jay has exciting plans for the future when this is finally sorted, watch this space." 11/12/2015 09:09 | Is a good buying opportunity, as the m/c valutaion barely covers the Kiliwani asset, assigning USD0 to everything else. I would top up if I had some extra CF. New Minister of Energy just named yesterday which is a positive, ie now they have someone to sign the paperwork. BLVN will sign the deal as all E&P companies in this space need to show revenue, and they don't have anything else in the near term (Cameroon is a ways off still) Vike | vike1
11/12/2015 08:22 | There we go, now their reporting it correctly. Gonna be big drive up in price here. No reason for the drop and news could come any day. | duxy786
11/12/2015 08:11 | Nice bit of buying.....deliberat | duxy786
11/12/2015 08:07 | in what respect is the company in a much better position now than it was a few months ago? They have imo basically got a very bad deal on their assets and the GSA doesn't appear to be any closer despite repeated bull from management about the timing if said agreement. Bowleven may be worth buying imo if you believe that they can exploit the assets........... | thecynical1
11/12/2015 07:34 | Further to yesterday's mention of 'many lines'...we're now on the 50% Fibonacci retracement level which is coincident with gap support from September 2014. Holding on (to my shares) for grim life, for now, and hoping for a bounce...leaving a bit of breathing space for the 'imminent'. Log scale daily bar chart (RSI): | marnewton |
