Don't make yourself look a fool when its easy to see.

This and next month will be the turning point for AMER, news will flow in a run up to the AGM, hopefully it will be positive.

There is no seller. There never has been any seller its paranoia from the idiots on here who know nothing about investing. The price is now low because its oversold and cant find momentum to grow as it being sold quicker than its being bought because the BoD miss targets which creates lack of confidence anything they say will come good so no jnf holds long enough to allow griwth in share price. The only ones making money are the MMs so a good set of 2016 results and additional oil finds in Plantillo are the areas that will bring fresh investment and fresh blood to lift the share price.

Good consolidation at 21p, same as LEK at 22p.
I think when done, accumulation for some, the share price should recover to 24p.

I should add, for anyone wanting to follow the 8 day ESA, it can be set up on ADVFN's HTML charts (from Tradingview) as the 8 day EMA. Different nomenclature...same thing.

Why AMER?:

The recent fall from 23p (or even 27p) to 20.75p or 10% actually did influence my decision TO BUY.

Also, the recent acquisitions in the Caguan-Putumayo basin of Colombia had something to do with it.

They now have interest in:

. Coati 100% Temblon Field or 60% exploration (as 40% is farm-out)

· Put-8 -- 50%

· Platanillo -- 100%

· Put-12-- 60%

· Put-9 -- 100%

· Mecaya -- 58%

· Andaquies -- 100%

· Put-30 -- 100%

· Terecay --100%

· Tacacho --100%

The recent purchase only cost AMER under $5m. Which is consider by many a true bargain. They managed to buy these on the cheap from a struggling Canadian Oil Co...

Also, AMER will be the operator in all contracts with the exception of Put-8.

I am expecting the results of flow test for the Platanillo-22 to be positive.

Taken from RNS:
Platanillo-22, which has reached 5,651ft, where 9.5/8" casing has been successfully set and cemented.

Some risk but big rewards.
If successful AMER will be back to 27p in no time!

The long-legged doji today suggests much investor indecision.

Is today's low (20.00p) a possible double bottom? Confirmation will come with a two day close above 23.25p. As I suggested this morning, that's the time to buy.

The 8 day ESA, also mentioned this morning, is the yellow line. A two day close above that may well be an early buy signal.

The lower horizontal line should be used as the stop-loss.

I note in the last acquisition presentation, it mentions that a portfolio wide reserves and resources report will be commissioned once ANH approval is received and the integrated seismic reprocessing programme is completed - not sure when that will be?

Jonny that's hardly a concessive list of major shareholders.
The top 2 in the list disposed of a few quids worth at new year but nothing to write home about.
