I've been adding over the past few days of weakness. It seems there is a chance we will wake up one morning to an RNS saying there is a takeover bid. Assuming it is a good offer, the share price could go through the roof very quickly.

I know they used to have a large classified section but I never saw oil companies being advertised for sale in the London Evening Standard.

When asked about a move to the main market at a past AGM, GC said they had no such plans as the PI's would lose tax advantages.

See, his selfless policy shows GC really does care about us!

Just to join the final dots:



"The Cuyabeno Reserve is best accessed via Lago Agrio, an oil town approximately seven hours east of Quito by bus or 30 minutes by plane. Once there, you can join a jungle tour, which generally passes through Puerto Chiritza, down the Aguarico River and into the Reserve as far as the Peruvian border."

The pumping station is the "Chiritza pumping station" according to Amerisurs RNS(

Finding where Puerto Chiritza is has been beyond me, although Lago Agrio isn't difficult to find.

Once again support has been shown at 24p which tells me lots of people are still on this horse. Regardless of OBA and less than 7200bopd the company is forecast to move back into profit for 2016 with estimated profit if £23.6m, not too shabby considering they held back the sale of their oil until it hit $45pb and with huge reductions on Opex custs with the opening of the OBA which can be scaled over 2017 at approx $55pb it will only get better. Granted BoD dont give a toss about shareholders but remember its an AIM's listed company for a reason and i dont know if too many more people than JC and the team could have the experience or contacts in a post rebel Columbia....

It shows why Rex etc dipped out then. Plenty of time in interlude to fix probs, I hope. I need some good news to resurrect the +ve feelings. Been down so long it all looks up to me. Waiting until the AGM for a +ve is not my idea of a good time.
