12/1/2017 12:46 | Pumping station is not the issue It's the Ecuadorian reception facilities that are limiting the flow rates as far as I'm aware | eddie_yates
12/1/2017 12:15 | Good question. I wish I knew the answer. | blackdown2
12/1/2017 11:22 | Would be good BD2. How long does it take to fix a pumping station? | bigwavedave
12/1/2017 10:49 | Perhaps a decent OBA update will provide the necessary impetus. | blackdown2

10/1/2017 16:28 | I dont actually buy the indigenous outrage. The problem has more to do with one word COCA Thousands of acres of coca in the area, presumably where the indigenous tribes can't see it or 'can't see no ships' This is more about drugs money than offending tribal traditional grounds, as otherwise these concerns would have been aired before permission was granted. target='window'>h | foiledagain
10/1/2017 14:35 | 'Indigenous people awake'. 'After centuries of mistrust'... Amer need to be careful now.. | valentine

10/1/2017 13:02 | FoiledAgain: I do share your concerns and also hope we are taken out in the not too distant future. It is strange the way this latest news was presented i.e seperate news to announce achievement of TD only. For 7 and 17 they announced TD, initial flows and production in one hit, they never provided advance ideas of flow nor reaching TD without flow information. Perhaps this is the point you're making. My observations were that Pad 3N has been very productive and hope the trend continues for Plat 24 and the future wells further north. | royfd
10/1/2017 12:55 | If were in charge of investor relations, the shame would be too great. I'd shoot myself. | bigwavedave
10/1/2017 12:17 | Bouncing around in narrow channel. Springboard? | valentine
10/1/2017 11:55 | You may need to speak up a bit. They seem to be hard of hearing. | blackdown2
10/1/2017 11:46 | If I were in charge of investor relations here, my suggestion would be to increase the frequency of progress announcements rather than wait for all the information to be consolidated. The bounce from the announcement of the OBA was nullified by the deafening silence which followed. This was good for long view investors wishing to top up, but not so good for the company reputation. Now that GC has removed his snout from the options trough, perhaps the incentive to crush the share price has been eased. We have the good news from the well head now, perhaps the quantitative data will be issued next week, with the OBA bottleneck resolution and reconciliation with the indigenous folk shortly after. Are you listening Amerisur? | lucyp00p
10/1/2017 11:17 | royfd. If you look at the Plat7 RNS it mentions the tools that gave Amerisur the facility for pay zones etc., and I would really like the current well to do as well as you hope, but you have to ask why Amerisur have not given any idea of flow. Presumably they are still using LWD systems. | foiledagain
10/1/2017 11:01 | Further to the above: Plat 7, 30 Dec 2013 - initially flowed 3,052 BPD of 30.2 API oil on test under natural flow over a 34/64" choke with 180 psig at the wellhead and trace water. The well has now been choked back and placed on commercial production at approximately 1,300 BOPD. JW stated "This is another tremendous result for Amerisur. The geological risk at Platform 3N was always higher than at previous wells simply because we were stepping out beyond the area where wells had been drilled previously. The fact that the structure at 3N and the flow rates surpassed our expectations bodes well for future development wells in the area, underlining the field potential going north. We continue to work with all parties to resolve the constraints on our export processes, and I hope to be able to give an update on the Ecuador export option early in the New Year." | royfd |
