Share price down again, care of Peel Hunt. It would be interesting to know what they base their analysis on, as it conflicts hugely with other broker targets and furthermore, who's interest they are serving.

It's not all gravy. I recall Steve Foss heralded his arrival by snapping up 300,000 shares @35p. I wonder what Mrs. Foss thinks about that now.

More likely is they are loaded up with free shares and now seek free cash instead. How many directors have actually bought shares of late or at all.

With some posters suggesting Amerisur has been plundered on the options front and with the pipeline options plundering it even before the pipeline was finished, where it still isn't functioning as shareholders were led to believe, they will concentrate on higher earnings.

Don't be fooled by a token gesture where the option trough has no more room, where a cash trough will be wheeled in.

If anything real nonexecutives would have suspended the original options awarded before the event and if shareholder value was considered shareholders would expect a rebate.

If 2016 figures were good (profitable) why wouldn't they be taking options as usual?

Renumeration being voted on is positive but for PIs largely irrelevant as long as AMER has major holders onside.

Today's broker note-
Amerisur Resources plc (LON:AMER) had its price objective raised by investment analysts at Peel Hunt from GBX 21 ($0.26) to GBX 24 ($0.29) in a note issued to investors on Monday. The firm currently has a “sell” rating on the stock. Peel Hunt’s price target would suggest a potential downside of 10.28% from the stock’s current price.

So Peel Hunt believe Amerisur is overpriced based on their closing price ....idiots!!

Hi and Happy Hogmanay for tomorrow to all the old gang and regulars esp The Gardiner, BWD and Tony. I haven’t dropped into the board for a while. It seems that not a lot has changed. BWD, I am comfortable with the “gumption̶1; stock and also with MTL set for a rise on a three month view. I remain well and celebrated my 4th “New Birthday” before Christmas.

For AMER remainers I hope that one day the pipeline pumps have some proper work to do.

Apologies to new posters who don’t recognise me. I was very deep in here for years.
