So the PANR poster yesterday was on the money. Up 18% today. Just goes to show that Google doesn't have the answers. You can't beat eyes and ears on the ground. I wish we had someone down Putumayo way (or Ecuador) to see what's what. I might put an ad in the Puerto Asis Bugle. Do people read papers anymore?

Erm, how can I put this? In order to calculate the value of a company capitalised in sterling, one should probably take the dollar denominated balance sheet position and apply the prevailing fx rate to derive a sterling equivalent which can be used to extrapolate the true value of likewise denominated shares. One would therefore be likely to deduce that any post-brexit strengthening of the $:£ rate is as likely to have a positive impact as weakening would be detrimental.

Rollthedice you might find the figures are an improvement as 2015 was a write off at $30 oil and if you add the reduction in capex due to OBA and the fact that they stopped selling on until it went back to $50 the figures should be up on 2015. Saying that we need a through put of 7200 bopd as forecast or this might be the headline if missed regardless of turnover.

FY figures March are likely to be fairly miserable given constrained production and period of sub$40 oil in H1. AMER may well be a key tip H2 2017 but I don't think there'll be any fireworks H1 '17 that will offset negative figures which are pretty much a given.

I used to have a racing snail..
