22/12/2016 08:49 | I would like to thank the guy who sold 4mm shares yesterday @26p. Don't know who you are or why you did it but you gave me another buying opportunity executed today for which I'm very grateful. Merry Xmas | lucyp00p
22/12/2016 07:58 | Will buy more today Eddie if it hits 24p to take it to 26p average so not so hard to handle and overall on the portfolio its not to big a hit as other sticks doing well but well spotted Eddie.. | francis55
22/12/2016 07:42 | Everyone gets fleecedSeriously even the institutions get fleeced and these are ppl are professionals But remember they have a long term strategy and just offset tax losses against tax gains | jailbird
22/12/2016 07:30 | You'll have to hang around for a while Francis as you're sitting on a 14k loss at the moment if I remember correctly!! | eddie_yates
22/12/2016 07:07 | Can anyone please post the contact emails for the board members? I can't find them anywhere. | gtfcniles
22/12/2016 07:03 | 2015 year end results predicted 7200bopd by the end of 2016 - i am not hanging around until early April full year 2016 report to know they have failed to make these numbers and then use the OBA capex reduction and the political climate in Columbia to try offset their failures. Hang the DJ is what the Smiths used to sing, good metaphor for how most feel about the leaders of Amer. | francis55
22/12/2016 01:41 | Very disappointed with the company. They knew they had problems and sat around on this information rather than sharing it. I'm sorry but I've lost faith in the board with the options they grant themselves without even delivering what was promised. I'll be out of Amer as the share price allows a break even. Been here for over a year and had nothing but constant lies from the board, how can heads not roll for this disinformation? It's borderline fraud. I look at the salary's they pay themselves and the share options they gave themselves and for what? | gtfcniles
22/12/2016 00:24 | To put some context around what I said to Fadilz, here's my current NPV that does not rely on management ability. Assumptions are: $60 price of oil. 24 million P2 reserves Producing 4.5K bopd $31 in opex and taxes (conservative admitedly) $9 million in admin costs Current exchange rate Current number of shares as per advfn I've handed back net current assets and the cost of building the pipeline as I'm sure the OBA is valuable enough to recoup the build cost (I know, I'm being harsh). I've used the last interims to calculate the values. On that basis the company as it stands is worth 23p per share. The only thing I'm asking of management in this valuation is that they do not go backwards, not a sure thing... but surely even they can't do this badly. It resets my expectations to ones that are lower and that I am more comfortable with given management ineptitude. It means my average price right now is too high, so averaging down by buying or selling is an option. Seriously, the bar is so low here, they barely have to step over it , which gives a fair idea of how the world outside of advfn see Amerisur at the moment. Anyone with more confidence than I have in the company should be snapping them up at this price. I'm seriously concerned with Malcy's write ups here, the bottleneck is clearly highlighted in the presentation, I can't believe he wasn't aware of the bopd restriction that applied as a result of that bottleneck, but he chose to ignore it. In my view it should have been RNS'ed or at the very least made a hell of a lot clearer to those that weren't invited. Why didn't the share price go up when Malcy was so impressed with the presentation? Why didn't the share price go up upon completion and first oil through the OBA? I think the answer is obvious and I think many PI's are being fleeced as a result. | al101uk
21/12/2016 20:16 | Folks this share is a gold mine as long as you dont go long on it, I have said this at least 4 times in the last year and been shot down on here each time in that its a roller coaster share that dips and rises every 3 months or on interim results at least, not updats, interims and i have banked circa 30% each time this happens and made amazing profits each time. Its dipping again and im in at 24p to hold until the next interim result. Try it... | francis55
21/12/2016 18:23 | Personally think this will be one of the top performers in 2017 been here for years getting near retirement now but have always thought this would set me up for a good retirement bought in at about 3p and if all goes well I see £1.00 by the end of next year with production around 15000 barrels a day, it is about time for once they over perform and think next year will be the year and to be fair they generally have good results when they do drill, not sure about Giles but think the rest of the team are okay happy Christmas to you all and wishing you all a happy new year and let it be the best year for all of us who follow AMER XXX | ianpuddifoot
21/12/2016 18:17 | Long awaited OBA opens the share price hits 32p and now after his rns we are down to 24.75. That doesn't inspire confidence and investors will get jittery. | dayway123
21/12/2016 17:45 | He won't. There aren't any fears - just someone looking to force down the share price | blackdown2
21/12/2016 17:35 | Well I just hope GC doesn't come out with a statement to support the share price and calm fears. He's done enough damage. | dayway123
21/12/2016 16:57 | bd2. Ditto. C'mon Gran Tierra! | bigwavedave
21/12/2016 16:53 | If company gets a reputation for underdelivering why should share price reflect 'potential'? Current share price reflects where we're at at the moment ~ lower than expected production, OBA not generating the scale of cost savings expected but on the flip side higher oil price. | rollthedice
21/12/2016 16:52 | TIMBER.... | racinglad
21/12/2016 16:48 | 50p is fine with me. | blackdown2
21/12/2016 16:45 | Is there something else happening behind the scenes that we are unaware of ? Under 25p seems a bit ridiculous based upon our fundamentals and current oil outlook. I just hope we aren't being lined up for a cut price take out. | ladeside
21/12/2016 15:33 | Wow!! the share is doing much worse than peel hunt predicted. | dayway123
21/12/2016 15:30 | WTF Circa 4million shares sold in 3 transactions and the share price does not budge one tenth. WTF.... | francis55
21/12/2016 15:06 | 25? Must be Christmas | valentine

21/12/2016 14:38 | BWD, I know, hence the last paragraph. Think it's the first time I've said it though. | al101uk
21/12/2016 14:34 | If I had a pound for every time someone said GC should be given the boot, I'd be on a tropical island somewhere enjoying myself. Ain't. Gonna. Happen. | bigwavedave |
