Interesting article on indigenous locals who endured the war between Farc and Govt. Great pictures. They want peace and restoration of the old way of life..They'll be lucky. Amer the Multinational oil co have to offer them something to improve life and not be strafed daily by Govt helicopters whose infra red does not distinguish between Stone Age Indian communities and Farc encampments.

Anyone who thinks the oil price isn't a Factor here is a nutcase. OPEC will agree some sort of prod limit as even Saudi is being crucified with the low oil price. A steady rise above 70$ and a steady recovery to new highs in Amer share price next yr. It's time to load up if you haven't already IMO.

Anyone get a chance to buttonhole GC at the Kenv presentation last night? Another one tomorrow around 1800 in The Capital Club EC4. A few years ago there would have been a disorderly queue of enthusiasts vying for a word. Now?? How times have changed. Tomorrow is proper job.nice food and drink provided as incentive. That is a first also with GC.

We've been back in the March 2016 descending channel, on a closing basis, for three days. Horizontal support is in the 25.00p/24.00p area.

Another way to look at this is we've been trendless since April 2015.

Daily indicators are moving into 'oversold' territory and we may still eke out a weak golden cross on the 50/200 day SMAs...I'm not big on golden crosses, more important is the direction of the averages, which is still up.
