Here's the chart from yesterday's close.

The initial minimum double bottom breakout target has been exceeded, not that it was any great shakes at 28.00p.

We're at the top of the longer term descending channel with various levels of horizontal resistance just overhead (30.50p shown).

We remain above the 8 day ESA (yellow) with the 50 (blue) and 200 (red) day SMAs just starting to turn up.

Indicators are a bit toppy, so, with that and the aforementioned resistance, I wouldn't be surprised to see a pause for some consolidation...

...if only we could squeeze above the channel and pause there that would be fab!

The link confirms the company inactivation: 17/12/2015
Struck off: 31/10/16
Status: in transition

Being inactivated that long ago its not a default from statutory requirements its by deliberation.

Like you though I suspect if the owners are canny enough to have an offshore company to hide their identities, they are canny enough to shift assets sideways and elsewhere.

The BoD know this information, and would know what share dealings are taking place, but radio silence on that could have some wondering if there is a link somewhere along the line. I of course think its all above board...

FA, delisted isn't the same as being wound up.
It may just mean that they are in default through failing to file statutory accounts or other information.
I would anticipate that the owners are canny enough to shift assets sideways and elsewhere.

Intuition might not be my best trait, but I wonder if a previous seller isbuying back as someone seems to be mopping up shares with the price being held in place.

Still wonder why we haven't had any comment about Michinoko holding when the BoD know that company is being delisted end of October.

TDH

You're right. We got one share in a company beginning with M, and so many Chaco shares. The M shares weren't worth anything much and most people dumped them straight away.

TDH, that sounds familiar but I don't trust my memory that much. Anyway, for all his shortcomings I cannot believe that GC would leave the door wide open for a hostile and predatorial take-over, unless, of course, it benefited him! I wish the company would sodding well get this pipeline going; and release drilling updates too. The company hasn't a clue about PR. Adamant for drift, resolute to be inactive, etc or whatever Churchill once said.

Sharesure4 - I vaguely remember getting 2 different shares when GMN morphed - was the other called Melrose or similar? I don't recall different classes of share on Chaco to Amer but anything could have be hidden in the depths of a prospectus and most of us, me included, wouldn't notice !Still sure they are a scam, anyone who wants money or financial details first generally is ....

Dived in again sub-29p. Not available now. Hoping imminent is not a chimaera. Friday no chance unless Bertie meets up with Ollie and Archie. Turning into a Wodehouse opus. Day out in blanding on the cards.

Quid - 30p is bang on the money to clear out. Also been resistance at 33p for a good while prior to oil price drop. True sign after 33p to push to 42p where I exit and look for pastures new. Anyone on any pharma stocks as was looking at Verona?

TDH & Tony, agreed. The firm tried a similar stunt on another oil company a while ago. I do have a recollection that there were two classes of share at the time Chaco morphed into Amerisur, but any voting rights on the B shares would have fallen away once Amerisur was established.

TDH, Amer still above the clouds and looking bullish on the Ichimoku.
I'm looking at 33p as a benchmark for clearing immediate resistance.

Panr still distinctly bearish but seems to have found support.
PPC still dropping
Sou,Hur,Ela,Vog looking a shade bearish.

Ntq still looking bullish also Iae,Fpm

humungous amount of buying going on with some rather tremendous looking block purchases.

Simply delightful. Scintillating stuff don't you think.

What a change. I feel like getting my pink trousers out and dancing around the grounds.

Scam for sure Sharesure4 - any issue would have been be pari pasu and I like Tony don't recall any such bonus issue and I have held some at all times since GMS and we invested because it was to be a prolific gold mine within the EEC rather than some godforsaken place but in the end, unlike in the movies, the Mafia wouldn't let us drive off with the gold in the minis ;)
