Canaccord 1125p target; they point out, as is obvious, p/e at a discount to Wood Group and Hunting whilst doing relatively better than them in this current downturn.

Pretty good statement overall. Savings beginning to accrue and a recovering oil price should provide support

Evens then. I've bought steadily in recent weeks. Oil going up, slowly, and this is undervalued - next results will give clearer view

After a while looking I have taken the plunge.

Believe this to be a solid company for a long term hold.

Agree, however, the short term could be rocky. Never know though.

Results 26.3. Can't believe that we won't suffer from cost cutting by large customers.

macarre - next ex/div around the end of May so I will be monitoring until close to that date and if I do add will be before ex/div date.

Losos - agree, need to be patient here. That's the plan. Nothing goes up in a straight line. Since my last post share price had a decent 8% rise. Still optimistic it could touch 930p-ish over the next 4-6 weeks. A full recovery could take months, if not a couple of years like you suggested, which is a very reasonable assumption imo.

macarre - "for a possible reversal over next 2 - 4 weeks"

Don't want to disappoint you but I can't see how AMFW can really gain in the short term, in my view it will take two years at least to fully recover. I speak as someone who also has a small holding aquired just prior to the big drop. If the share price does look like it has stabilised at these levels then may top up (ie average down) although not a good stratagy for the traders I have done this before and it's paid off, just have to be patient. Maybe that's your plan as well.

Amec Foster Wheeler has been notified that the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is to terminate the NMP Sellafield contract at the end of Q1 2016. The NDA has confirmed this is not performance related and this change does not impact any other Amec Foster Wheeler project work on the Sellafield site.

I'm not going to call a bottom just yet, but like the way the chart is developing this week (MA20). Have a small holding here and will keep an eye for a possible reversal over next 2 - 4 weeks, when I plan to top up. Imho/Dyor.

The increased share capital (extra 90m shares approx) now appears to be reflected in various quarters (although not the above ADVFN fundamental data) and AMFW currently has 383.43m shares in issue with a capitalisation @ 934.5p of £3,583m. Unfortunately, the oil price drop and possibly the response to some dilution has meant that this is only good enough for Rank 104 so no promotion to FTSE100 next month.

FWIW, position 90 has a cap of £4,178m so we would have needed an share price of 1090p...this is going to be more of a long-haul than I had envisaged.

I think today is xd (or was it yesterday?), which won't have helped the price.
