30/8/2003 00:43 | Rise this morning is due to interims and announcement of a further 10p Divi (that's 11.1p in an ISA) Property in Hull still has be be sold. By my calcs: 1.1+1.72 = 2.82m = 12p cash (23.46m shares) Cost of divi £2.5m leaving about 1.35p/share Still to collect 120k (0.5p) from sale of business and sale of property - that's the unknown but in books at 975k so say 1m (=4.25p) So should still be 6.1p modulo differences in property sale price and closing costs - let's say 5p. I suspect once it goes XD we'll be able to buy at 2.5p- which might be a great opportunity. The extent of the rise this morning took me a bit by surprise since still the uncertainty of the property sale. I took the opportunity to sell 50k@14.25p (still have 50k in my ISA). | ianreid
29/8/2003 16:00 | Ian, thanks for that. Sell or hold for divi it looks like a bit more cream left on the cake! | gelp
29/8/2003 08:32 | Another 10p dividend. Good news. What will be the asetts per share left after that? | gelp
03/7/2003 05:53 | Any idea how assett sales are going? | gelp
04/6/2003 02:17 | I agree.Don`t know who Palmco is but looks v.interesting. ty. Have followed Amb in and out for ages and think that a figure near to the assets should be achievable. Not sure of time scale but position should improve monthly as long as winding up costs are kept in check. Even so there seems a lot to play with. | gelp
03/6/2003 18:11 | I bought WGB yesterday, Palmco is not in there increasing its stake by leaps and bounds for nothing. DYOR | azalea |
