Top up Share Issue of New Ordinary Shares of 5p each

(the "Share Issues")

Amati VCT 2 plc announces an allotment on 19 June 2017 of 193,540 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Share Issues. In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Share Issues, the Offer price at which New Ordinary Shares were allotted, which was calculated by reference to the net asset value of an ordinary Share on 15 June 2017, was a price of 138.27p per ordinary share (net asset value divided by 0.99 to allow for issue costs of 1.0 per cent).

Following the allotment, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 34,526,511 with voting rights.

Admission date of the New Ordinary Shares is expected to be 23 June 2017. CREST accounts are expected to be credited within five business days of allotment and definitive documents of title are expected to be dispatched within ten business days of allotment.
