cpap man: Where will ANR go share price wise on the major news that is by all accounts coming shortly? Remember that not that long ago ANR were trading north of 5p
tricky20: They have cash to last to July.Once/if PEL is issued they will raise one more years cash and continue to raise carefully into a rising share price-that is the plan anyway!!
tidy 2: 7p target ....which would seemingly value ANR's share at approx £ if all goes according to plan then that's pretty good for a company with a current MCap of around £5m (share price .7p)
tidy 2: According to RNS of Nov 2, Sino-Aus and Wintask are to invest a total of $33mAUS (approx £16m) at the end of which ANR will have a 45% share of Arckaringa......which would seemingly value ANR's share at approx £ if all goes according to plan then that's pretty good for a company with a current MCap of around £5m (share price .7p)
professor pettigrew: From "Malcy's Blog" (Malcolm Graham-Wood) this lunchtime:- Pantheon had its AGM yesterday and the Chairman was appropriately optimistic having seen the exceptional drilling success this year. With the second well testing, the results as they say are not yet in but overall the mood is quietly optimistic and with the share price having taken a breather opportunity knocks. I think that there is little doubt that there is significant upside for holders here as I understand that institutions are still nothing like well enough represented in a stock which will become a must have in oil portfolios next year
tricky20: A lot of us here are relatively big and long standing shareholders,so the past week has been both true to form for Altona and very disappointing to its shareholders. Reading between the lines there has clearly been a bust up between Sino Aus, Wintask and Altona management. Management were very enthusiastic about Methanol at the AGM, but I am guessing that that Wintask and Sino Aus have decided that to start with UCG is a much more cost effective and faster (though not higher) return business. This is absolutely true. My guess is that they want to initially build an effective cash generating UCG business. Once that has been up, and running for several years and is a proven success other products may then be considered. Methanol plants etc will certainly be easier to finance under such a scenario and the Company will have built proper cashflows and value. My my assumptions are right this is a far better, though more conservative approach and should see the resource in production within 3 years. Also remember that we have a highly experienced, politically well connected shareholder and non exec director down in South Australia in Phillip Sutherland. He has been involved for a long time and has been highly influential in obtaining and renewing the licenses etc.He is a major, but often forgotten positive. Non of us like seeing the share price collapse and the situation is clearly highly precarious. However,Sino Aus and Wintask are not fools and they have extensive petro chemical experience. The jury is certainly out,but we are not fully out of the game quite yet.
zulu88: o/t yes, excellent RNS from SMA, where we have a small holding. ANR RNS (funding for drilling) has the potential to have similar impact on ANR share price. It seems that quite a few companies in this sector - AYM, KLG, SMA are getting 300% / day share price rises on the back of positive RNSs. ANR certainly has the potential to do the same on release of RNS and rise to 5p in the short term and 30p+ long term.
zulu88: I wonder whether ANR share price will be at 3p or 5p by the end of this week :-) .
zulu88: ryan83 - LGO shareholders are taking their profits and re-investing in ANR. Expect ANR will re-rate from 1p to 5p on expected newsflow. Longer term, the ANR share price could easily reach 30p with the resources they have.
cheekyfella: Some more chunky buys going through today. I'm not sure about nose-bleed territory as you call it Bashers2 - but I think we might get somewhere near 4 - 4.5p this year - here's the theory. Monday 21 June 2010, the ceremonial signing of the Arckaringa Unincorporated Evaluation Joint Venture ('the JV') took place at Parliament House in Canberra, Australia, in the presence of Mr. Xi Jinping, the visiting Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Australia's Prime Minister, Mr. Kevin Rudd, and South Australia's Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Tom Koutsantonis. The share price was 9.0p and rose sharply after that to 18.0p shares in issue ca 400 million. Since the signing of the original JV there has been a 100% dilution in shares January 2014 and the demise of CNOCC as a JV partner, a new potential partner Sino-Aus was introduced to Altona by Wintask. Today the share price is 1.35p Should it be more today? Will it be more IF a new BFS is commissioned with a new partner ? If the market interpreted a new JV as valuable as the old CNOCC version, then correcting for dilution the share price would be at least 4.5p On the assumption that the MoU is materialised into a new BFS etc, I think 4.5p is an achievable share price. Appointment of Drilling Contractor, mobilisation etc, BFS milestones etc will sustain and nurture the price. We'll see soon enough.
