Sadly this has been treading water now for years, just paying the BOD, what a waste of such a huge opportunity especially as the Govt were behind it 100% at one stage, in fact were pushing it when it was CTL and power generation.

If it takes Altona this long to find out what options they have regarding the PEL, how long would it take them to build anything?? I don't think i'll live that long.

All their exploration licences have expired today,
but it appears that they've applied for renewal.

Tri-Star Petroleum Company Inc were set up in 2009. How the hell did they manage to get hold of the licenses? Can't find out who the 4 people are that work for them. Need to do some more research.

Whatever the outcome of this I think we will soon find out the direction of Altona as a business. No idea what route they will take but they say they have 'a number of options'. Fingers crossed we will know shortly!.

Altona, via the JV has AUD$35 million to bring to the table. That's more money than Tri-Star looks to have...

I have been here now for about 10 years and I can't imagine anyone wanting to JV with Altona as what have they got to bring to the table, I know it's huge but the goalposts keep getting moved away from the original really good plan and now we have yet another wait and see scenario. I'm not trying to be down as I had huge hopes for this when I bought originally but after 10 years and still nothing, makes you wonder what the hell has happened.

A positive in itself that someone wants to acquire these licenses after Linc. They obviously see the potential that Altona see. The more companies behind this vast area the better imho. I am sure the Aus Government will see it that way also and are already backing these much needed projects.

Plenty for them to talk about then, JV?. This is a huge area with a 'world class' resource contained within it.
The basin is in for some development action soon perhaps?

Joining forces the way forward?

Isn't this what we were waiting all these months to find out? Surely it's another slightly positive step towards getting the project started (again)?!

Is this the final nail in the coffin? If Tri Star didn't want them they wouldn't of aquired them surely.
