Slow and steady is what's needed here....mkt cap is only abt £7m.
There just isn't any room for huge movements without parallel price shifts taking place and the downside is already limited by the existing low share price

bp - yes, just 375k in total showing on each side of the bid/ask and those totals are split between 4 mm's ....viz, 3 x100k and 1 x 75k - hence the twitchy response to any sharp share price movemnets.

Volume building nicely at ANR

Note that on the UP days volume is strong but on the DOWN days volume is light....now that is extremely bullish!

CPAP, it's important to keep some perspective. The expected "major news" would get us back on track to where the company was last April before the PEL farce. As for the 5p historical price - ANR had different owners and a different strategy.

A bit of short term selling by a few just now - I'm more happy to stay invested at a reasonable price, ahead of the real news from ANR.

Where will ANR go share price wise on the major news that is by all accounts coming shortly?

Remember that not that long ago ANR were trading north of 5p

I see 0.80p paid 10.24hrs, for just 100k, following on from a steady trickle 50-100k trades today....certainly decent enough to spur onward the share price a touch, which is likely to continue.

bp, yes - I'd earlier missed spotting that one million shrs lot at 0816hrs - I see it was a (D)elayed trade.....0.75p. Well bought I think - whoever won't now get another one million for the same price.

ANR - thanks cpap man.

I just feel that it's important to not be out of Altona Energy, providing the buying-in can be done at lowly. As you'll know the last spikey rise started Feb 14 and ended on the 20th, having risen 80% at its peak.

But it seemed to come from nowhere in particular except a feeling news was close, so heaven only knows where we might run up to on real tangible newsflow.

Hence " better in than out" is my feeling on ARN, even if it ties up funds on a flat share price in the interim.

ANR - fallen back into the "buy zone"....well, it has done so for me.....0.625p.

L2 best bid/ask is showing 0.55p/0.65p, although not that much on show at the 0.65p ask, currently being discounted only a touch. Next and larger amounts on the ask is 0.70p, so mm's holding a tightish rein on ANR.
