Just to be clear - the offer on the 1st June for the renewal of the EL's was made
by the SA government. It's for a period of 2 years and has an annual commitment
of $880,000 - $960,000 for each licence.
The 23.07.15. target date for completion is the latest when the government expect
ANR to decide whether to accept the offer or not.
The 23.08.15. date is 1 month after to issue the 3 licences.

Frankly I wouldn't blame the Aussies for losing patience with Altona and refusing to renew the license in the hope of getting someone else involved who are capable of utilising the asset and bringing in some taxes.

Hi Mogwhy Is 27.08.15 when the decision for renewal will made by?Can't believe they only made the offer on Monday. But I guess that's Altona for you. Had to sell some more of my modest holding last Friday as my patience is reaching breaking point :(

and there appears to be a target completion date of 27.08.15.

The current WAAP expires next Tuesday.
It's not clear to me if they need to renew it for an UCG project.
I suspect that they will.
I wonder if they still need a drilling program for the new BFS.

People really need to learn to split trades and save a lot of money. It was 0.525p offer for 500k when they paid 0.575p

Agree with GravyDays-I think you will find our guys are completely aware of the Linc debacle which was of their own making. UCG is a proven technology and given that it is a much cheaper, quicker alternative makes good sense for Altona.

Cougar Energy UCG experiment in Australia failed.

Australian Govt issued legal proceedings against Linc Energy for alleged pollution from their UCG experiment.

I don't think UCG is a good solution and have therefore sold ANR holdings
