Actually, I've just looked at my numbers and confused myself by some of my margin choices so updated a few numbers.

We know the disti margin is 40% so I'm now using 60% of the sales number as the purchase price from the supplier/printer. The printer gross margin I have as 75% and the profit share average as 35%. 41K distis with an average of 60 customers each.

With these numbers I get pretty much the exact figures from the slide I was sent by SCSW, namely ~$1B total sales, Aprinta gross of ~$440M and ALT gross of ~$150M.

Yeah, I've posted this a few times in various forms. The Aprinta deal was a one off at 50%, future deals will likely be around 20% which is what we were told on Wed. Post 1669 is an example where I used the low end.

Sheep,

On your spread sheet have calculated what ALT's percentage share of the gross order is?

Putting it simply, say for every £100 ordered have you got a percentage that goes to ALT?

Cheers

No point, advfn are pretty much less than useless. You will get a response...we at advfn do not etc etc

Any site today that lacks the facility to stop swear words being put on the forum is not fit for purpose. Look at iii, no swear words get through.
