I'm a non SCSW person, this could be a stupid question! So has SCSW re-tipped ALT to its subscribers?

Surely most existing subscribers that are interested in ALT as an investment will already be long. If this is the case where will hoped for increase in buying pressure come from?

I haven't seen Paul Scott mention Altitude before but I see he's referred to Artworktool on his Twitter account :

Does this indicate he is aware of Altitude? If so it could be useful if he covers them in his small cap value report for Stockopedia.

SH....a question ALT QnA:When the Aprinta deal was announced, Billy Dolan commented that are planning to double their printing capacity in 2017. Is this on the expectation of the additional business c2s would bring in?Thanks

I've just been looking at the co website this afternoon, so slick and so much for a tiny co with a £40m market capitalisation.

I think the WHI £3 target will come far sooner than many may expect.

That Amazon stuff to get announced with a positive trading update will send ALT back up sharply yet again and a lot more stock in the hands of Varley and other major shareholders that don't willingly sell any on a rally so an even sharper squeeze I would imagine.

Sorry, jumped the gun a bit there. Everything I post needs to have been given the okay from the NOMAD. I'll write some questions later tonight and put the key points down.

hitsha, there's no deal with Amazon. It was a turn off phrase. They want to be the Amazon of the B2B world. I.E. the one firm you think of when someone mentions B2B. I don't know if this is just in the promotional goods side or more generally. That's one question to put to them.

Hey all, some good news.

I've been in touch with Martin and have agreed to collate questions and present them to him to answer in his own time. I asked mainly about the market they're entering as I wanted to better model the roll out. His answer is in full below. Lets have a discussion and I'll collate everything to email him in a week or so, or once everyone agrees on the list of Q's.

Note he also suggested they could organise an investor presentation for us. They will also try and put up all investor presentations on the website after the next results or update.

If you have a question can you start the post with "ALT QnA" so that I can search the thread and make sure I haven't missed anything.

I just got home from work tonight and found my Small Company Sharewatch hadn't arrived so I've been reading the online version. I thought this was interesting, on the rear page:

"I’ve just met Altitude’s Martin Varley on 28 December and heard exciting new stuff that he has under wraps - technology to launch a “B2B Amazon” (Channl)."

Exciting stuff indeedee! :-]

No problem, I'll try to answer.

22K - comment from SCSW (who met Varley again on 28th Dec).

Photo is from an ALT presentation. I can forward it - email me at sheep_herder at outlook dot com. No date on the slide I could see.

0.35 is an extrapolated number from the distributor sells vs. distributor buy costs. 420M/1.2B. When they talk about the $500 customer purchases they are referring to the distributor selling costs which includes their markup. So to get the printer revenue, multiply everyting by 0.35.

Edit: perhaps an easier way to calculate a baseline is to just use the ALT numbers scaled for 22K instead of the 2.4M addressable. 22K/2.4M = 0.0092

So for the 1% and 5% engagement table entries we get revenue of $1.435M and $7.176M.

Sheep_Herder,
A few questions, if I may.

In post 1063 you said "They currently have 22K live". Is that repeated in the photo they sent you?

If I understand you correctly, the photo they sent you is of a page of an ALT presentation?

Does the photo show a date for the presentation?

In post 1065, what does the 0.35 in your formula represent?

Thanks
