I think the market segment they hope to make gains in is only $1B (from SCSW) but if you look at FOUR, they only have $500M revenues. Take their revenue and apply an 80% margin instead of 6% and see if you'll be happy with that.

Indeed. What we have is potentially disruptive technology for a $2bn market!!!

Found this analysis of the US promotional products industry.

What I find interesting is the relatively low volume of online sales - approx 19% in 2015. It seems that most distributors are still operating in the dark ages.

Hopefully, click2ship will put a stop to that!

Melf - roll-out quite small at the moment. The printing for the cubs is just for 1 week only.

Good quote from Dolan- (CEO Of Aprinta) in the article

The Alexander City location is the company’s base of manufacturing, Dolan said, and began operations here roughly two years ago.

“It’s always been our goal to become the biggest decorating footprint in North America,” Dolan said.

Just seen this on The Aprinta web-site. Don't know if this is separate to the Altitude deal?

Aprinta was granted a large contract for World Series merchandise - due to this, lead times may be extended - please contact us for specific lead times regarding any orders - we apologize for any inconvenience

Great recovery today, US election polls must have had an influence I think. Melf/hitsha1 and co keep up the good work and lets make this a board for the ones invested and not rampers/time wasters etc, thank you.

APRINTA actually sends the PROMOTIONAL stuff directly to the END CUSTOMER, no physical involvement of the DISTRIBUTOR who acts just as a middle man

Just been checking out the AI Mastermind website. I note that when ALT signed the deal with them I think the RNS said the group had c$200m in annual sales. However, the AIM website states it's $600m. I'd rather believe the $600m - but who knows :-)

"Welcome to the Advertising Industry Mastermind Group (AIM), a group of independent distributors who combine for over $600 million in annual sales. We have over 120 industry partners. As we enter 2016, this will be our 9th year and we look forward to continued success for all. Our mission is to group with serious suppliers and distributors who strive to grow their business and service their customer better"

Yep sorry too much made of scsw it is just noise. They took part profits and their current holding of ALT is still one of the largest in their portfolio I believe even after selling a few. Would have been a bit unbalanced had they not taken any profits. Not good re:Hallet but shouldn't affect this too much imho.
