10/5/2017 08:49 | Best to ignore imo. The cornerstone to Altitude’s software business is a complete front end package enabling distributors to start and run their own promotional products business. Originally server-based, the software is presently offered as a software as a service (SAAS) model, which means payments from users of its software are received on a monthly basis throughout the term of a contract instead of as a large upfront payment. Last year this software rental income represented c.£2.5m of the group’s sales of £4.5m. | malcolmmm

10/5/2017 07:34 | Altitude Group is a provider of technology to the print and promotional products sector, a market worth $22bn per annum in North America alone (source: ASI). With the heavy lifting of a substantial reorganisation and cost rationalisation programme now complete, the focus is on a new value-based revenue share model with Promotional Product Distributors (PPD’s), providing them with the technology to compete alongside established industry players such as Vista and Staples who are gaining market share. Alongside that is established and predictable Enterprise license and SaaS revenue. Our SOTP valuation for Altitude of 80p is based on some highly conservative assumptions around adoption rates of this new model. A less conservative approach sees value in excess of 300p per share, although even this could be surpassed if other partners jump on board. We | opodio

09/5/2017 08:17 | Melf, they already have an established UK business with distributors. Perhaps not quite as much choice as the US but I haven't done a comparison. You can check a UK example here: But remember the UK market is a lot smaller than the US. | sheep_herder
09/5/2017 07:54 | Something I'm unclear about, so perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. As I understand it, Channl.com is now available in the U.K. As far as I'm aware, they haven't got a deal with a U.K. supplier - so how does it work? You set up your web store but how does that then link to a supplier in the way that the U.S. web stores are linked to Aprinta? Am I missing something here? | melf
09/5/2017 07:10 | Sheep_Herder here here ALT have a great business model and a unique patented software package developed over years . | malcolmmm
