One of my best performing stocks over the last week. Good thing about a share that never moves is at least it has not gone down.

I think that AN needs to announce an acquisition before long to really bolster their share price. They are strong in fixed and mobile telecoms and are weak in offering data services, problem is that there aren't many good ISP's left who would fit easily. My instinct is that if they could do something that shows they could capture more of a customers telecoms/data spend then the share price will increase significantly.

Anyone agree?

T... does this mean that the "promised" deal is off or could it still be being negotiated?

Are you also assuming that the "deal" that no one is aware of on this board was what was holding the price up above the float price?

Been keeping an eye on these since the initial float, having researched them and liked what I saw. Didn't much fancy paying a 25% premium over the float price so I've just been watching and waiting for a pull-back. Seems that the quick profit is now looking attractive to some, plus the mm's hefty initial premium over-estimated market interest (or more likely awareness)...
If it falls a few pence more and then makes some kind of floor I'll be looking to get in - if the management can continue their private company performance the share price will be driven up strongly over the next couple of years.

That's why I wondered what significance the trades of 550k & 600k on Wednesday had, considering the volumes beside these have been small by comparison.

To be honest i've been engrossed/away and haven't been able to pay much attention lately, so I haven't been doing any analysis of the trades at all....I have an expectation that they can and will drive onwards, they are effectively a one-stop communications/data shop with I believe a sharp eye on value-added management and other services....I believe that there is a massive opportunity within this market segment for smart consolidation and at not too overly priced, I believe this could possibly lead to significant top-line growth, with little increased infrastructure cost increase.,

If I am correct they could easily be the 'Matrix' of the mobile/data/comms sector, the key question is are the management bright enough, smart enough and wise enough to grab the opportunity before them?!

I think they are, but as always time will tell...

If I am right they could easily be pushing £3-4 within 12-18 months..!

all of course IMHO!!

Saw your mention on the DAG bb and thought I'd pay a visit - looks interesting, although need to spend a little more time reading up. Freed up some funds for some debt clearance, now caught in two minds whether to take a dip here/wait for DAG's fall back to the 60's!

Interested to know what you made of those couple of large trades on Wednesday - buys or sells?

Tradx, lets hope i keep these longer than da. - although I made a return, I missed the gravy train.

It might be an idea to pick up some TND before results peel hunts forecasts puts them on a p/e of less than 5!!!! Plenty of cash... only one way from here.

aquisition and they have (I believe) one or two 'smart' plays up their sleeves....

as always time will tell, but an announcement sooner rather than later just might be the prod this share looks to need..

E*trade are my brokers and AN. has only been tradable since this morning - had to email the company for them to put it on the system.

This share is seriously "off-radar".

Still have competition doubts and the effect of VOIP on this one. Still, they seem to have a pile of cash and ambition to double in size in a year or two. How do they intend to do that then?

Good write up in shares mag today. Half page article, too long to write but basically detailing Alternative Networks strategy, customers and how they have been profitable for all the 10 years they have been trading. Very positive article but not moved much today.

Having difficulties finding out who the main institutional shareholders are in AN. Can you oblige. Have tried talking to the company and their advisors, but the right people are always in meetings and ShareScope won't list them until Friday.

Looks promising. Placed at £1.00, that makes 25% profit for some but no dip yet. Bodes well as the buys are absorbing any sells. This should start moving slowly north now. This is one of my med-long termers, and we should all see a nice profit with this quality company.

Interesting block trades of 400,000 and 450,000 going through at mid price....probbaly what pulled the price down temporarily ...interesting to see what happens tomorrow I think this could be a nice old gentle rid e upwards over the next few months........

Company looks like doubling in size over the next two years-that will do for starters.

Wait till DAT Group PLC and Dangaard Telecom -who are creating a create a new mobile email service- start appearing on AN. Web site!
