23/4/2005 10:37 | BB, all, Sorry, I'm fully out for now..what I expected to get this moving simply hasn't materialised... I will however continue to lurk.. regards T.. | tradx666
18/4/2005 17:20 | One of my best performing stocks over the last week. Good thing about a share that never moves is at least it has not gone down. | britishbear
13/4/2005 10:34 | I think that AN needs to announce an acquisition before long to really bolster their share price. They are strong in fixed and mobile telecoms and are weak in offering data services, problem is that there aren't many good ISP's left who would fit easily. My instinct is that if they could do something that shows they could capture more of a customers telecoms/data spend then the share price will increase significantly. Anyone agree? | richoneday
08/4/2005 18:11 | Still lurking too - but want to see a floor before I move... regards, ian | ian.g
07/4/2005 08:15 | Tradx666, I'm one of those still lurking - are you still in here ? hlb | hlbinternational
06/4/2005 23:19 | T... does this mean that the "promised" deal is off or could it still be being negotiated? Are you also assuming that the "deal" that no one is aware of on this board was what was holding the price up above the float price? Thanks | britishbear
06/4/2005 22:18 | Do you think these will be still good T?? As you always say - 'time will tell' You sellin?? | supreme mo
05/4/2005 20:25 | oh well, you cannot win them all..without the promised news, looks like this will be heading much much lower.. regards to all left lurking.. T.. | tradx666
17/3/2005 11:00 | Been keeping an eye on these since the initial float, having researched them and liked what I saw. Didn't much fancy paying a 25% premium over the float price so I've just been watching and waiting for a pull-back. Seems that the quick profit is now looking attractive to some, plus the mm's hefty initial premium over-estimated market interest (or more likely awareness)... If it falls a few pence more and then makes some kind of floor I'll be looking to get in - if the management can continue their private company performance the share price will be driven up strongly over the next couple of years. Thanks to all above for the intelligent thread - hope it stays this way! regards ian | ian.g
10/3/2005 20:41 | That's why I wondered what significance the trades of 550k & 600k on Wednesday had, considering the volumes beside these have been small by comparison. | harry marks
10/3/2005 20:35 | BB, true, only too true! I still live in hope...;-) keep smiling T.. | tradx666
10/3/2005 20:33 | Bit of a slow burner this one T.. ;-) Usually the sp's on most of your tips would have gone up 50% by now. I hope you are not losing your touch. | britishbear
10/3/2005 20:15 | Harry, To be honest i've been engrossed/away and haven't been able to pay much attention lately, so I haven't been doing any analysis of the trades at all....I have an expectation that they can and will drive onwards, they are effectively a one-stop communications/data shop with I believe a sharp eye on value-added management and other services....I believe that there is a massive opportunity within this market segment for smart consolidation and at not too overly priced, I believe this could possibly lead to significant top-line growth, with little increased infrastructure cost increase., If I am correct they could easily be the 'Matrix' of the mobile/data/comms sector, the key question is are the management bright enough, smart enough and wise enough to grab the opportunity before them?! I think they are, but as always time will tell... If I am right they could easily be pushing £3-4 within 12-18 months..! all of course IMHO!! regards T.. | tradx666
10/3/2005 19:58 | Tradx666, Saw your mention on the DAG bb and thought I'd pay a visit - looks interesting, although need to spend a little more time reading up. Freed up some funds for some debt clearance, now caught in two minds whether to take a dip here/wait for DAG's fall back to the 60's! Interested to know what you made of those couple of large trades on Wednesday - buys or sells? Keep it on ice H | harry marks
06/3/2005 13:11 | Am picking some of these up me thinks... will have to look at the finances. Any ideas of prospects in terms of sp?? Tradx, lets hope i keep these longer than da. - although I made a return, I missed the gravy train. It might be an idea to pick up some TND before results peel hunts forecasts puts them on a p/e of less than 5!!!! Plenty of cash... only one way from here. Love ya loads Mo | supreme mo
26/2/2005 07:24 | BB, aquisition and they have (I believe) one or two 'smart' plays up their sleeves.... as always time will tell, but an announcement sooner rather than later just might be the prod this share looks to need.. regards T.. | tradx666
25/2/2005 11:00 | E*trade are my brokers and AN. has only been tradable since this morning - had to email the company for them to put it on the system. This share is seriously "off-radar". Still have competition doubts and the effect of VOIP on this one. Still, they seem to have a pile of cash and ambition to double in size in a year or two. How do they intend to do that then? | britishbear
24/2/2005 15:58 | Good write up in shares mag today. Half page article, too long to write but basically detailing Alternative Networks strategy, customers and how they have been profitable for all the 10 years they have been trading. Very positive article but not moved much today. | topinfo
23/2/2005 21:40 | Hlb....well done mat, dont think these will disappoint. Hope your wife doesnt notice her life savings missing !!! | topinfo
23/2/2005 12:41 | TradX Having difficulties finding out who the main institutional shareholders are in AN. Can you oblige. Have tried talking to the company and their advisors, but the right people are always in meetings and ShareScope won't list them until Friday. Thanks in advance. Keepit | keepitsimple
22/2/2005 20:08 | Looks promising. Placed at £1.00, that makes 25% profit for some but no dip yet. Bodes well as the buys are absorbing any sells. This should start moving slowly north now. This is one of my med-long termers, and we should all see a nice profit with this quality company. | topinfo
22/2/2005 17:40 | Interesting block trades of 400,000 and 450,000 going through at mid price....probbaly what pulled the price down temporarily ...interesting to see what happens tomorrow I think this could be a nice old gentle rid e upwards over the next few months........ | seagreen
22/2/2005 09:31 | Willie, In which case, can I buy your daughter a present...something/ I do like the cut of this lot, and from what I hear their feet are firmly placed on the ground and they are highly thought of... let's see what they do next.. regards T.. | tradx666
22/2/2005 08:47 | Ok Tradx-I always use my daughter as a lucky charm-just put her in here before I take a bite! Company looks like doubling in size over the next two years-that will do for starters. I note this service offered; Wait till DAT Group PLC and Dangaard Telecom -who are creating a create a new mobile email service- start appearing on AN. Web site! Looking with interest :o) | williemanjaro |
