This (like kibo) should be much, much higher
patience required I suppose

here's an article about LA
could apply equally to any large UK city

The business opportunity in the great LED retrofit is enormous. Of the 140 million streetlights installed worldwide last year, only 19 million were LEDs, according to IHS Technology. By 2020 LEDs are expected to account for 100 million of the installed base of 155 million streetlights. Annual sales of LED streetlights will jump from $4.3 billion to $10.2 billion in the same time period. Boston, Seattle and New York City are all undertaking big retrofits. New York’s $76 million project will be the largest in the country: replacing 250,000 lights by 2017. City officials expect to reap $14 million in energy and maintenance spending per year.

Whatever....

Now - back to business and the purpose of this thread. The purpose being to follow his calls and usually do the opposite. Numerous multi baggers in 2014.

Of course I am not saying that these companies become overnight successes and ultimately they may fall back again. But you can pick up some stocks which might multibag short term. To give an example, MNC was one stock deramped some time ago and went from 0.7p to 4p in short order. It has fallen back again on poor sentiment and diminishing funds etc but is now sitting at about 0.45p.

Is it time to look at MNC again? Stigologist was calling that 0p not long back.

BMN - is that about to sky rocket? Last week he predicted the share price would fall to - (minus) 37p.

JQW - he was calling that a fraud. Cynically using poor sentiment on Chinese corporate governance to tar this stock with the same brush. Did anyone get their 5p divident recently? Think about it. Touched 14p recently and now up 50%.

So, this week's selection are these - The first two possible short term movers and the latter - might take a while longer to recover.

yes moreforus, read here about the seller, that spoiled our party this week

I agree, we're due a hefty rise thereafter

weird price action this week, would have thought we would have been 0.20p by now. They are in a fast-growing market in the UK. MMs and their antics will have to recognize that fact some time...

Stock seems evil on the margins for punters. Paying 0.18p high and sellers could
only get the 0.12p bid price mm dream

Take it you do not know the topinfo thread that is full of pump and dumpers
with no shame.

This is not a pump and dump. Led lights are the future. All new building are being installed with led lights and old one are being replaced with them. This is a real growing industry worldwide, not just in UK. SO for me it's a long term investment.

Jeez this looks terrible.

As can be seen the combination of the delay of the planned Indonesian business and impairment of our intellectual property portfolio has put the Company under considerable pressure, and measures have had to be taken to ensure the Company's continued survival until we have had a chance to grow new revenue streams. In this respect it was announced in March (and revised in May), that the Company entered into a GBP 10 million convertible note program to provide it with working capital as it builds its revenues. To date, the Company has drawn 10 sub-tranches of this facility, representing GBP 250,000 of which 5 sub-tranches have been converted into shares. It is this facility, together with such support as I have been able to bring to the Company which has enabled the Company to survive. The Company anticipates continuing to draw on this facility but hopes to reduce drawings as greater operational revenues are generated. In addition I am continuing to support the Company with my convertible loan agreement in respect of which approximately 4 million US dollars has been drawn and which has been extended by one year from its original expiry date of October 2014. Although a further circa US$3 million remains to be drawn under the Convertible Loan, the Chairman has indicated that his ability to allow the Company to draw further funds under this Convertible Loan will depend upon the circumstances and the realisation by him of further cash from his own sources.

maybe the MMs know some news up ahead, eg monster contracts, and need the sellers to offload this week, so they are ready for the buyers when they come, eg next week. Just my thoughts.

they are all crashing or will crash...

11 Feb'15 - 09:05 - 490579 of 490907 1 0

All very speculative and either could go up or down at any time. My view:

SAR - might be something in that rise the other day. However, just as likely to drift back to 0.3p on lack of news.

ALR - looks interesting and might spike if interest does not wane.

SER - spikes always possible on this one but highly risky imo.

Another interesting one is NCT. One smashed down by Darwin. I think it will bounce at some stage but might be longer than 3 weeks.
