06/9/2016 08:58 | well on the way to £55 I see... | skinwalker
01/9/2016 22:47 | A thousand years? More? Why have you got a stick in your bottom drawer by the way? | skinwalker
01/9/2016 20:45 | Target unchanged. Stick in bottom draw and wait. | r ball
01/9/2016 11:22 | Increased my holding on these lows. | value king
01/9/2016 08:44 | you're asking a lot in the circumstances jimjim... your man will be raising his target to £60 soon. he'll have some theory about the strength of the yen helping for some reason or other... | skinwalker
01/9/2016 07:20 | £55 target. | r ball

31/8/2016 17:08 | Now can you see the man is a plonker? | skinwalker
26/8/2016 08:25 | Mr Ball right? Watch this baby fly? Are you bonkers? Do you live in the same secure establishment as Mr Ball? Same room? Nice quilted wallpaper? Its flying in a similar way to that airship/aircraft that hit power cables and crash-landed this week. Far from impressive! Is it too late for you to return to school and try to learn something useful? | skinwalker
25/8/2016 13:08 | even ftOldFartVille cant ramp it this morning, hmmm, lol !! | jm2009jm
25/8/2016 12:35 | Tks for that, ploughed thru the report myself looking for goodies or gotcha's seemed to me a 'steady as she goes' statement with lots of promise on the horizon. Awaiting the next news on progress (on the large portfolio). Will give it time to settle then look to add ... see also that Woodford continues to participate in cash raising (last but one RNS). | gwatson56
25/8/2016 12:17 | Numis note... Allied Minds has interims out PM There’s not much new in them, that i can see PM But it’s a good run through the portfolio PM hxxp://www.investe&h PM Only sell side we’ve got on this is a snap from Numis PM ALLIED MINDS: – INTERIMS ALM reports no change to its Group Subsidiary Ownership Adjusted Value (GSOAV) of $535.8m – this is in line with expectations given the portfolio valuation already reflects the uplift in value of Federated Wireless (FW) following the $22m funding round in Jan 16. Allied Minds created two subsidiaries during H1 2016; iBeCa Therapeutics (ABLS III) and ABLS Capital and currently consolidates 25 portfolio co.s – we note the group’s goal to deliver 4-6 new co.s during FY16, tapping into its relationships with leading US Universities and its favourable access into US Government agencies. ALM has reported group cash of $162.6m as at 30 June ($194.8m at 31 Dec), of which we estimate that c.$95m is at the top co level, with the company highlighting that its current cash and financial position takes it ‘through December 2017′ and we note the group maintains significant flexibility in the rate of capital deployment across the portfolio and could also benefit from potential realisations. During H1, ALM invested $31.8m and three subsidiaries raised an additional $99.2m in funding from third party investors. We note H1 news flow from ALM; progressing ABLS II into lead optimisation phase, FW began the certification process with the Federal Communications Commission for its Spectrum Access System, entered into an alliance with wireless industry leaders, and announced partnerships with Telrad and Siemens. Spin Transfer (STT) demonstrated its ST-MRAM technology through the production of a working prototype device. We also note recent progress that SciFluor’s ophthalmology drug candidate, SF0166, is entering phase I/II clinical trials in H2. Allied Minds is trading at 1.8x NAV. PM Nothing that ive seen from Credit Suisse, who came on as co house broker recently Allied Minds PLC (ALM:LSE): Last: 384.29, down 24.71 (-6.04%), High: 417.10, Low: 376.80, Volume: 115.97k PM So volatile that thing 11:50AM | philanderer
25/8/2016 09:32 | Two plonkers then! (and both mouses) | skinwalker
25/8/2016 09:10 | who's the plonker who ticks my posts down I wonder? Reveal yourself! Man or mouse? Yes, I think I'd sell out at £5.50. I sold half my holding at £6.80 so this has been a very good stock for me. Mr Ball is a fantasist - probably should be locked up (if he isn't posting from the asylum already) | skinwalker
25/8/2016 08:59 | That`d do me :-) | philanderer
25/8/2016 08:27 | still rather a long way from Mr Ball's £55 target I see. Does he mean £5.50 do you think? | skinwalker
23/8/2016 20:17 | Not always. The main issue I see is that 2nd and 3rd round funders can be mandated out of the stock itself. | r ball
23/8/2016 16:23 | Looks like R Ball was right. Buckle up and watch this baby fly | bobonumber1
23/8/2016 16:17 | One of my better decisions, so far anyway ;-) | philanderer
19/8/2016 11:07 | Added a few more @ 373p this morning. | philanderer
18/8/2016 21:22 | £55 target. It only takes STT or Fed Wireless to take off and 3rd and 4th round funders and you have quite a bit of capital appreciation. This is a bit of a binary stock but with lots of throw of the dice. How else do you get exposure to US spin outs?? | r ball
17/8/2016 16:18 | No, he hasn't. | solonic
17/8/2016 15:46 | This is the ALM thread, and he has been right about ALM | jm2009jm
17/8/2016 15:15 | Problem is, though, LK is the only one in the world who doesn't know it. He won the Gold for solipsism in Rio. | the air marshall |
