27/5/2011 11:35 | boadicea, yes, I noticed the massive volume a few days ago but assumed it was just a crossing . sorry but what is DI ? | arja
27/5/2011 11:15 | just added 4400 to my isa paid 33.85p thanks to my useless broker. swear they screw me over all every time. hopefully the down trend is broken. | ukgeorge
27/5/2011 10:17 | Agreed Oz has been lead market but there have been some very large trades recently on AIM - see 24th May - When it launches on main market here at 200+p (6 into 1 consolidation) as a new holding company and Oz shares become the DI's this might eventually change. | boadicea
27/5/2011 09:04 | just rang IG markets and they have now included AGLD for me - nice to see the level 2 even though it is MM stock ! Judging by low volume here so far , I suspect oz is in fact lead market . | arja
27/5/2011 08:53 | boadicea, thanks a lot for the information and links which I will study. I actually play the OZ market still having lived there most of my life and noticed the nice move up last night . I assumed UK is lead market for this stock but is that correct ? Must ring IG mnarkets to ask why it is not included in their stocks to trade ! My pet hate is MMs and nice to know it might become SETS soon ! have a nice weekend . | arja
27/5/2011 08:35 | AGLD nice chart - bouncing off 30p | vivgav
27/5/2011 08:33 | arja- Afaik AGLD is currently MM only on AIM. This is shortly to change and you need to read these links which will explain as much as we currently know: The surrounding technicalities at a time of some uncertainty and weakness in mining markets has had an exaggeratedly depressing effect on AGLD unwarranted by the underlying fundamentals - imho. It's also worth noting that AGLD trades in Oz as ASX:ALD and on TSX as TSE:ALG. | boadicea
27/5/2011 08:28 | News in AUS, l&g increased their holding by approx 20 million, probably those large transactions the other day. All good news | dvsfm
27/5/2011 07:57 | Is mining and minerals due a bounce? Charts on POG suggest a bounce too, as with AGLD. | wylecoyote
27/5/2011 07:21 | IG Markets do not even allow CFD trading in this stock and hence I have no level 2 for it . Can someone tell me if it is a SETS/mm stock please or just MM ? Turned around in OZ today to trade at about 34p equivalent and chart suggests a nice bounce . | arja
26/5/2011 12:43 | finally on the turn? | vivgav
25/5/2011 18:35 | the tech indicators could hardly fall any further so a turn cant be far off | juju43
25/5/2011 18:05 | Due to the general weakness I was hoping to top up circa @27p and i still think it might get there judging by the price action. | shovelandspades
25/5/2011 17:48 | the sooner we get the london main listing sorted the better, I suspect its Baker Steel, maybe they only want to hold Allied if its on the ASX. Only a guess, or they have found a cheaper gold producer, there cant be many of them though | dvsfm
25/5/2011 16:38 | somebody dumping but why ? many gold miners are not doing well so there is a reason which probably applies here. hedge funds shorting ? it will all change at some point and maybe soon as they will not be able to resist the rising gold price | juju43
25/5/2011 06:42 | Gold rose to its highest in about three weeks on Tuesday Goldman said in a note: "We expect gold prices to continue to climb in 2011 as the resumption of quantitative easing should keep US real interest rates low. | divinausa1
25/5/2011 00:11 | it really is hard to fathom i really am missing something AGLD back to oct 2010 price, 2nd mine on stream and POG over $1500 i need help... | divinausa1
25/5/2011 00:09 | i like what this poster said over on the LSE re AGLD its hard to understand why we are these levels "Imagine picking up Centamin for quarter of the price with virtually none of the political risk". What's not to like? | divinausa1
24/5/2011 15:19 | all in good time, im sure it will, crazy value at this level | dvsfm
24/5/2011 15:00 | Explains the recent weakness and hope the reporting of trades today marks the end. Gold still around all time highs and moving up so good reason to think the Co financial results will be good also and Shareprice moves up from here. | ajviews
24/5/2011 14:05 | i would think its baker street capital, last time I spoke to management they gave the indication other institutions were happy to take the shares being sold, odd amounts so are we at the end?. Ready for an uptick? | dvsfm

24/5/2011 11:41 | May 24 (Bloomberg) -- Commodities rebounded from the biggest drop in almost two weeks after Goldman Sachs Group Inc. advised investors to return to raw materials. Asian stocks gained and the Australian and New Zealand dollars strengthened. More here.... | divinausa1
24/5/2011 09:01 | wonder who is dumping and why. we left a gap at 35 on the way down which should be filled but chart has broken down through 200dma . macd, rsi suggesting move up . hard to call especially if someone has a lot more to sell | juju43 |
