That's because you're the resident share basher, it's your job and remit to undermine and deter, and go very quiet when the share price rises. Gla holders :-)

On a sum of the parts basis I did not understand how the shares could be worth more than 0.2p . The valuations of the sale of various horse-hill assets were publically available and the value of the Greenland licence was public. So I still believe the shares have been hyped up to above fair value especially given Alba's perpetual need to raise more funds to continue as a going concern. GLA and DYOR

Lol as you well know Alba's share price was up over 130% from September's 0.2p placing....plenty have made stunning profits despite your opinion and negative diatribe at that time advising punters not to buy.....the current share price has been pegged back because of the perceived delay in HH permit approval.....July before you know it, and obviously the marker wants definite flow confirmation at Brockham.....Spring is in the air......Alba probably have enough cash for near term....no cash calls until flow test approvals are in place....although a placing now would be great....the last one saw a rise of over 130% the following month despite your predictions.....gla holders...a potential stellar year ahead on confirmation of commercial recoverable volumes of oil.at HH and Brockham and graphite and gold in abundance. :-)

It's been a stunning performance by Alba shares in the last 6 months. Absolutely stunning. They are up 40% since the placing price. That is incredible but at some point there will be profit taking from this high level.
They must also be running on fumes now. They need to get a placing away soon to calm investors nerves. GLA.

News expected soon according to Alba from Greenland on the gold target data analysis and extent depth and size of the graphite zones....the highest grade graphite in the world apparently......and maybe a surprise on proceedings resulting from Mondays presentation and invitation from Greenland Authorities....they must hold Amitsoq in high regard......Angus are expecting OGA approval on Brockham as well with production expectations spring/early Summer....the blossom is already appearing on the trees in my neck of the woods, and according to Ukog a decision on permit approval for HH extended flow tests will be made by end of July. Alba's prospects and potential for this year look incredible from this lowly low. Gla holders Hold on tight, the odds are firmly in our favour. ;-)

Lol a 8% drop on two sells, the late reported 3.5m sell no doubt caused yesterday's drop....but this will bounce soon enough and the traders and punters will be piling back in as news on Brockham's production drops.....HH to follow.....but news from Greenland imminent.....I still reckon Alba have enough cash for the near term commitments but it's clear at this stage a fund raise would be most appropriate. ...a newly fully funded Alba with so much transformational upside potential will see a surge of new investors. Gla holders....our time will come!!! :-)))

Therefore, based on the evidence so far, Angus has confidence that the well will be similar to Horse Hill and, perhaps, given that the reservoir is potentially much thicker in zones not previously tested, the results could be even better. These results achieve everything short of production to prove the potential from this zone.

-- Operations are in hand to install new production facilities for the well and to prepare for production as soon as necessary OGA approval is in place. Production is targeted for spring/summer 2017. The Operator will shortly be meeting Surrey County Council to discuss the position in relation to the sidetrack and also to agree what further planning permissions are necessary in order to regularise the existing site cabins, fencing and associated structures.

-- Additional oil shows were observed in the Portland and Corallian formations. Currently, the Brockham number 2 well is a temporarily suspended producing well from the Portland reservoir and the Operator is confident of additional production from the Portland from Brockham X4Z in due course. The Corallian formation, with good indications of both gas and oil, is still being evaluated.

-- Further technical analysis of the results is contained in a presentation prepared by Angus, a copy of which is available on the Angus website (www.angusenergy.co.uk).

Michael Nott, CEO, commented: "These results are very positive for the Weald Basin as a whole, and very positive also for Alba given our interests at both Horse Hill and Brockham. We look forward to the work that will be undertaken by the consortium over the coming months and the benefits that will arise for all shareholders and stakeholders."

Lol utter rubbish....Alba have 90% already and the remaining 10% is a formality...all costs are covered at this stage, and the drilling programme planned for later this year will be relatively cheap as the target zones are located close to the surface.....100% of the highest grade graphite in the world is an exciting prospect.....question is....will a major want in before the drilling programme or wait for results and pay top dollar thereafter.......gla holders....HH and Brockham offers transformational upside but Greenland could be massive. :-)

but they don't want 100% of an early stage licence in Greenland. Their partner has gone and Alba are stuck with all future costs. For little Alba, with no cash, to proceed the licence to the next stage is going to cost a fortune. They need to divest or farm-out asap.

Alba will soon hold 100% of the Amistoq license.......potentially this could be massive....and looks like the Greenland Authorities are very keen to promote the mineral wealth potential, and obviously must hold Alba's Amistoq graphite and gold prospect in high regard.......THE HIGHEST GRADE GRAPHITE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! Gla ;-)

Legislation amendments to ease exploration costs in Greenland
10th February 2017 BY: MEGAN VAN WYNGAARDT
CREAMER MEDIA CONTRIBUTING EDITOR ONLINE
JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim- and Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed FinnAust Mining has welcomed changes to expenditure obligations for holders of minerals exploration licences in Greenland, which FinnAust said would result in cost savings for the company.

Under a newly issued addendum, the expenditure obligations for exploration licences from year 6 to year 11 will be reduced to a zero expenditure requirement for 2017.

The decision by the Greenland government was made following extensive industry consultation and direct dialogue with licence holders in Greenland. “It’s a clear demonstration of Greenland's supportive approach to its emerging minerals industry,” FinnAust said.

FinnAust, which is working to advance its Avanaa licences, under new entity Disko Exploration, believes these assets have significant resource potential, and that the more favourable licensing environment will support their ongoing assessment.

yes of course, super jumbo sized flakes wasn't it?

I was looking at the October 2015 news release on the Amsitoq project. Do Alba have a commitment to spend over £400,000 on this licence this year and next? You really have to be on the ball with stocks like this regarding future licence commitments.

"Thereafter, Alba shall have the right to increase its interest in the Project to 70 per cent by meeting the 2017/2018 commitment of DKK 4,430,320 (approximately £438,000). This shall be subject to Greenlandic Governmental approvals being obtained for Alba to acquire a majority interest in the Project, and the renewal of the existing licence (which expires on 31 December 2017) for a further five year period commencing 1 January 2018. The parties shall co-operate to ensure the satisfaction of these conditions."

Page 11.......Amistoq appears to have the highest grade graphite in the world. Gla ;-)

Graphitic carbon content varied from 20.5 to 35.4% , with an average of 28.7%

Preliminary geochemistry (from a limited dataset) suggests that grab and channel samples from historic workings at Amitsoq are high grade in comparison to worldwide graphite resources.

Full market appreciation beckons

Angus Energy plans to bring Kimmeridge into production at Brockham oil field, UK

Angus Energy has plans to bring Kimmeridge into production at its existing Brockham production facility in the UK, after an extensive analysis of the BRX4Z sidetrack well.

The company will commence production after securing necessary approval from OGA (Oil and Gas Authority).

Brockham X4Z well was drilled to a depth of 1,391m, with the objective to analyse Portland, Corallian and Kimmeridge formations at Brockham, including an evaluation of the Kimmeridge reservoir.

The well was intended to establish whether evidence of a potential reservoir reported at Horse Hill extended further north into the Brockham Licence.

Angus Energy has revealed that the preliminary results from Brockham X4Z exhibited similar thickness of reservoir and properties to those reported at Horse Hill.

The gross thickness of Kimmeridge in Brockham X4Z is around 385m thick.

The two limestone intervals (each around 30m) tested in Horse Hill are also seen in the Brockham well. The reservoir properties appear to be similar to Horse Hill, based on electrical logging evidence.

Angus also conducted a search for natural fractures by using the Weatherford Ultra Wave Acoustic borehole imaging tool.

The tool enables the ability to see fractures in the borehole directly, thereby eradicating the need to infer them from logs.

The results confirmed natural fractures not only in the two main limestones intervals previously tested at Horse Hill, but also in abundant natural fractures in sections of interbedded shales and limestones between and below the two main limestones.

Angus procured samples during the drilling campaign for geochemical analysis.

In line with Angus’s measured approach to field development, operations are underway to install new production facilities for the well and to prepare for the production as soon as the necessary OGA approval has been received
