Almost bought on the bounce last week!
Clearly relieved I didn't !
Will keep them on my monitor but expect further weakness over the next few months.

People just realising the eps forecasts cut after April was a veiled profit warning?

Last year the company changed its accounting date, bringing the busier first half of year when most of its profit is generated into the first six months of its financial year. That means its full-year results will cover the 18-month trading period from August 2012 to the end of this January.

My guess is the strong pound will depress revenue and earnings. Mark Carneys comments on putting up interest rates won't have helped.

Very good results. Outlook a little more cautious, but a good company.

Hmm...this new product led strategy sounds like management speak to me, I like to read of customer focused strategies. Does it mean they arrange their products on a shelf and flog the one that most nearly fits the customer's requirements? That's not good. I find it a bit underwhelming.

EPS forecasts cut

With IT costs higher, broker Liberum said in the long-term, it would expect this higher spend to be recovered through higher revenues.

'However, this clearly cannot happen until the system has been rolled out and bedded in, so in the short-term we would not expect this cost headwind to be fully offset. Consequently we have cut our earnings per share forecasts by 8% for 2015 earnings and 1% for 2016 earnings.'

Today's results seem to read well, all headline numbers as or better than expected it appears. Crucially they seem to be replacing the Govt business and have a clear strategy going forward, hike in div seems to show confidence. Only small downside seems to be write off of some IT, but then that would be expected with new IT director, they all seem to do the same.Recent rise in share price seems understated with more to come if analysts get behind this

In fact there do seem to be quite a few operators in the UK in this whole area.

Thanks for drawing it to our attention, geraldton1. There seem to be quite a few operators in this area, might be interesting to compare them. Although not quite the same model as AIP.

I see Hanger8 are a NetJets approved operator.

Anyone out there looking at a smaller version of Air Partner called Hangar8 (HGR8). The last trading update was pretty positive and said things were on track - forecasts point to PBT of £2m and EPS of 19.8p, for 2014 it rises to PBT of £2.8m and EPS of 24p. Shares look cheap imho.
