Like I said earlier, I haven't read the new constitution yet but surely the price of 1 new share will be 10 times the value of one of the old ones or is that just me being naive........?

Delisted - then 10 ordinary shares = 1 new share listed on the australian exchange

if thats not true - then everyone would surely dump the shares to rescue what few pence they they may have left in this company?

Why is this going down again today? - I thought that there would be a positive reaction to the withdrawal of the options resolutions

After all, this is for the benefit of the company, no?

(along strike) POURA GOLD!

Reserves 800.000oz at €105/oz production cost

The inclusion of other gold projects in Mali and elsewhere in West Africa are currently being negotiated by TANEX Resources, including a very important project in the vicinity of Loulo Gold in West Africa, and the Poura Concession. Poura Mine is the largest gold mine in Burkina Faso. Poura reserves are estimated to be around 25 tons. Through 1995, Poura had yielded an estimated 19 tons of gold from high-grade quartz veins. The total gold production at Poura is expected to be approximately 710kg in year one, 34220 kg in year two, with a cruising throughput of 5,430 kg per year starting year three.

► The total production cost at inception is estimated to be of €104.89 per ounce of gold (3.70€/gr) to reach €102.90 per ounce of gold (3.63€/gr) at cruising production stage. These results would place Poura as one of the lowest cost operations in the world.

Today's RNS seemed quite encouraging (but obviously not to the MM's) - wouldn't it be nice if AIMR found a 3 ton lump of solid gold!

Sagem :

The middle east countries have been quietly buying gold for years. This is purely a hedge against falling oil revenues and depleting reserves. They are also buying high technology stocks and land. Countries such as Kuwait and Dubai are now investing heavily in establishing high tech industry parks ( on a similar model to silicon valley ).

Incidently, the dollar is not dead and America will be the first country to move out of recession

Especially when gold hits the $5000 oz which has been predicted.
SaudiArabia has bought $3.5 billions worth of Gold in the past two weeks and Iran is also buying huge quantities of gold transferring dollars into Gold reserves . The American dollar is crashing the country is broke

Well that's the logical expected step
Area allover with companies ambitious to produce gold at a staggering $450/oz
Board and staff employment secured at the expense of bombed out shareholders
If prospects prove successful in 3 or 4 years and a better zinc prices new entrants could make money of it.
