edged up to 3.1 in oz suggesting that maybe some corporate action is in the wind but could be just held up by bottom fishers !

yes, volume doubled from previous day but price closed unchanged at 2.9 cents . buys and sells must always be equal Sagem as i have said . Ok,5 buyers can hit one seller for a certain number of shares but this is probably not a good sign. Anyway, New MD may help .

Up 3.5% in OZ and plenty buys against few sells.....confidence returning, could hear some good news at the meeting next week. They have other mines you know.

actually there was an increase in volume last night compared to two preceding day but nothing exceptional . 5 days ago it was almost 9 million .

may I again point out to both of you that no MMs in OZ . For every share bought , there is one sold - same as SETS here but for ALL OZ companies . Certainly seems to be holding in 2.8 to 2.9 area which may give cause for optimnism but still risk of AIM going under and the cherry pickers taking any assets in a firesale .

igohi ..Why can't you be just a little bit more positive. You must remember that we have a credit crunch, very slowing and almost to a grinding halt economy here and just about every where. Any buys even small become very important in the light of whats happening or happend with AIM Resources or any other company. The Zinc price has dropped dramatically in case you did not know and please tell me how many AIM Resources shares did you buy yesterday, not what you already have because in OZ those were BUYS BUYS are BUYS.And please no reason to be rude in your posts such as penny sweet shop whatever good that does, As far as planet earth is concerned perhaps you need to be a little bit more confident as I am trying to be. Have a good day.

TO SAGEM:
Please come back to planet earth. your postings are nonsensical.
"they are buying big" - what are you TALKING ABOUT????? there are only 1.7 million shares traded in both buys and sells. that's about £25,000 worth of trades. if this is your idea of buying big then perhaps you should go to the penny sweet shop.
you seem to get excited and ramp any day there is even a tiny rise - no matter that we have had months and months of falls.

Well today AIMR RESOURCES is up 7.4% in OZ and they are buying big time considering all the news.......perhaps things are looking up and confidence is returning.

MAYBE, MAYBE all what we think may not be true, perhaps a lot of cash has NOT been lost and the internal workings of the company are not as bad as we think......we are all outsiders to this mess as it appears to be. I cannot believe that the BIG holders of these shares did not know what was happening to the company. We may well learn a lot of good at the 7th AUG special meeting that we know nothing about at the present time. LETS HOPE SO. But nothing can alter the fact that AIM are caught up in this credit crunch and a very poor economy with the Zinc price badly down.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I was going to sell today but now I will hold and hope for a better future for the company.

I have been watching this one for a long time - has it bottomed yet ? - hard to call - there is significant upside IF it has - but, the risks are large also.
Whilst NOTHING is for certain in the current market climate, I would suggest maybe a look at GDP - there seem to be a lot of good things happening there, and sound fundamentals.

Steve

Maybe it'll shed some light on this Flory thing as it makes little sense when they have such limited funds unless of course other money [NS] is behind it.

would not have paid for shares anyway. They rip shareholders off by taking large directors fees for doing SFA normally - that is how it works with OZ specs !

I would like to know how the share price slide has affected those on the board of this company. Do they lose anything as I am not sure that they have any substantial shares in the company. Does anyone know any different?
With regard to MF, it is going to take ages to bring him to court and a substantial amount of dosh too. Not looking too hopeful for the share price

I doubt he will be forced to repay it ! The news was already in the share price I suppose..

Does anybody have any idea what they hope to achieve with their action against Flory? Also can anyone explain why this action hasn't sent the share price down further?

not slipping further and held at 2.8 so maybe hope of some corporate action .

not sure where you get those figures from . The shares bought and sold must equal each other as that is the way it works . In OZ , it is not a market maker system and is similar to SETS in UK but applies to ALL stocks . Maybe in MM system , buys can be more than sells or vice versa depending on MMs balancing their books .
Anyway, good luck with your AIM shares and hopefully you will be rewarded in time but it is so dangerous to hold on .

AIMR still have a lot of potential and this is not factored into the share price, Their are lot of buyers in OZ and every investor is NOT selling. so I can only hope for some confidence to return. AIMR still have other mines and more potential than a lot of other commodity companies out their with NO history at all.

ON FRIDAY IN OZ THEIR WERE 735,000 SHARES BOUGHT AGAINST 652,000 SHARES SOLD...SO BUYERS ARE APPEARING WITH CONFIDENCE.

sadly 2.9 may not hold tonight in OZ , particularly as dow dead cat bounce seemingly over . BUt hard for UK holders to exit and re-enter later if they wish as MM spread is a problem .

So Flory ( or should I say Ned Kelly ) is now charged with mis-appropriation of duties ( or should that be funds? ). This latest news further endorses NS intiial high court action. NS obviously smelt a rat with Flory and it has taken some time for the new directorship to unravel some shady proceedings.

For holders still hanging on, this will now be a long messy protracted affair. When a company becomes embroiled in high court litigation against directors, it usually follows that all sub-contractors will halt existing contracts so little or nothing is done until the mess is resolved. By then the integrity of the company is damaged beyond repair. Even BHP Zambia will examine it's current relationship with aimr and ( may ) affect all existing licenses.

arja - Thanks for your post, I wonder if the Authorities know where Florry and partners are or they may well be in hiding....What a mess it all is = its so difficlut to try and make some money without all this big problem, this is just adding to my losses and I would think to many, many more invstors who trusted this company...but they do still have three other mines so we could still hope for some better news eventually. Goood luck not much out their at the present time.

sagem,
always remember that , when institutions own shares, it is not their money they are playing with . I learnt in the past that this does not give comfort sadly. These spec companies are usually run by "crooks" who just like to feather their nests and often get new funds from unsuspecting investors via a rights issue when they have spent or wasted the money . So recent news not surprising . now 2.9 in OZ but there are still buyers so it may give hope .
