Why the drop in share price?

I have heard the suggestion that another insurer (3rd in the space of a few years) is looking to remove its outsourcing away from ACS. I understand the insurer is Provident.

As there has not been an official announcement as to the accuracy of this information from ACS, I cannot vouch for its accuracy - only time will tell. But I heard the news a few days before Christmas.

Can anyone confirm?

Ex-Div today.

The board have proposed the payment of a final dividend for the year of #153,000 (0.25p per share), payable on 4 January 2007 to shareholders on the share register at 15 December 2006.

Think he was always holding that amount - funnily enough he was the chap whom at the time last year bought the 100k in the closed period - circa which was what made me buy in the first place...following the non exec director at that time. (Link below)

He has since stepped down as non exec director (also was one of the original founding members of AI) to follow his business activities you list above.

Lets hope this time his disclosure is the bearer of good news :)

45 David Gorton £90m
age 41, London Diversified Fund Management

David Gorton, an experienced City trader, is co-founder of London Diversified Fund Management, a highly profitable hedge-fund operation. After the recent fall in quoted hedge-fund values we now estimate that London Diversified is worth about £180m, basing our calculations on 2004 profits of £210,000 and sales of £32.4m. Gorton is the controlling shareholder and with his past salaries added, is worth £90m

....
So HAS HE JUST TAKEN A STAKE?

It is my understanding that the Teathers numbers came out prior to the 2nd top 5 pilot..(I'm basing this on the fact they were done just after the last results and at that stage the company had not announced the 2nd pilot)...again I am guessing but would have thought that it would prove a little premature for the estimates to include any substantial numbers at this stage from either of those pilots. If ACS convert both top 5 insurers into solid contracts then I think the potential upside to current estimates should be significant. The agm statement seems to read pretty well to me and on current estimates the share price is on an undemanding 10.3 falling to 7.5.

Hardly a drop though is it.

Statement reads well to me - confirming what we know. Nice to hear news of the new pilot and the engagement with their innovative services.

Still plenty of growth to go for imo - highlighted in their EPS forecasts - Beleive Teathers are predicting EPS of 2.32 for 2007 and 3.21 for 2008, that gives us trading on prospective PERs of 10.3 and 7.5.

Ai Claims Solutions PLC

(AIM: ACS)

AGM Announcement and Trading Update

At the Annual General Meeting of Ai Claims Solutions PLC ("Ai" or "the Company
"), which will be held today at 12.00pm, Charles Good, Chairman, will make the
following comments with regards to trading:

"The Company has made an encouraging start to the current year with trading to
date being in line with management expectation and good progress being made with
new business activity.

A further top five insurer has recently entered into a pilot with Ai, which
together with the start of a previously reported pilot will benefit second half
trading. There has also been an acceleration in the insurance market's
willingness actively to engage with Ai on a range of potentially innovative
services for their 'not at fault' customers. The result for the current year,
ending in June 2007, is expected to be in line with our projections, weighted
to second half.

HHR have issued an AGM statement....the statement includes this line...... "The demand for non-fault accident management continues to develop rapidly with a
number of large insurers actively investigating its use. ".......seems to further underpin the stance taken by ACS.
