Noooo.
The moat for Aggreko is its ability to invest in expensive kit.
AGK is 10x the size of APR.
Isn't APR the company set up by a Hedge Fund?

red...
this is a profit warning and the bad debts have not been quantified. look for more sogginess post the rns.
lots of our money has been going in to CAPEX and the PER is a sunlit uplands value.

I'm waiting for this to work itself out before increasing.

Powers Ahead Of The Pack

AGGREKO POWERS AHEAD OF THE PACK

Shares in Aggreko powered ahead yesterday thanks to positive broker sentiment, making it one of the Footsie's top risers amid a wider market sell-off.

Analysts at Seymour Pierce reiterated their "buy" recommendation and 2,500p target price on the temporary power and cooling equipment supplier in the wake of a trading update from sector rival APR.

The brokerage has a "hold" rating on APR after it reported "roughly flat" sales for three quarters in a row. Shares in Glasgow-based Aggreko charged up 53p, or nearly 3 per cent, to 1,959p, while APR fell 19p or 2.9 per cent to 636p.

In my humble opinion these are a hold for the next 4/5 years.
I have been in since they spun out of Salvesen and it has been great over the years. I cannot see any fall off in demand for their services for some time yet. There will be ups and downs but sit tight. If you want some ready cash just sell a few.
