06/12/2007 09:55 | This is certainly worth a gamble - if they don't go bust they'll be back over 10p in no time imho. Be prepared to lose everything though! | fingolfin
06/12/2007 09:51 | you reckon? - i obviously hope so, but Ive bought in for a few reasons... 1) cheap (relative of course!) 2) massive upside (as its the sort of business that the greenies want to work for future!) 3) couldnt help myself (the dark side in me) 4) i love wasting money!! lol If i had invested more into them, i would sell now, as 33% in a few days is amazing, but i didnt, and my 80,000 could give me 9k profit if these jump to 12p at some point..... | chicogabb
06/12/2007 09:19 | Chico my thoughts exctly all or nothing here....But i think we shall see the rabbit come out of the hat.. | silkcut5
06/12/2007 08:39 | hi guys bought my shares worth a few days back at 1.24.... looking to sell at either 0p or 12.4p...!! can get 1.65p for them now this morning....not bad for 3 days no work... | chicogabb
06/12/2007 08:13 | 300k buy just through on plus and a blue start, 2 mms now on the bid..looks encouraging.. | silkcut5
05/12/2007 20:31 | Guys / Charlie So if i've read this board and RNS's correctly they need 1 million tonnes to balance the 2008 reduction / credit commitments ? | chelseapaul
05/12/2007 16:52 | Fingolfin, thats fair point. I am in for small stakes as there is a potential downside if they cannot fulfill obligations. The downside from where I invested is only £900 (purchase price), the upside is substantial based on some good news. I got 90,000 shares to sit on. Bit of a gamble, but one I am prepared to take. I have an unrealised profit already, but prefer to hold. | seanmiller
05/12/2007 16:49 | Fin ....If they managed to get the contractual obligations they have met...where do you see the SP? | silkcut5
05/12/2007 16:47 | The reason this is so cheap guys is that if they have to purchase credits on the open market they are finished. It cost them millions the last time they failed to meet their contractual obligations. Another thing - they never rejected an 80p takeover offer. They simply said they were in talks which "might lead to an offer" but no price or interested company was ever mentioned. The price spiked to 80p on the rumour and quickly fell back to 40p when a few days later talks had terminated - it was all very suspicious. I'd be very wary of investing any more money in this company before further news about the contracts. | fingolfin
05/12/2007 16:45 | Its definetly a possibility....I cant see this one going to the wall, i want my first 10 bagger for awhile....Very rare beasts.....But i got a feeling ive found one here, was going to buy in at 4 p monday ....glad i didnt but pleased to be in at the price i am...You did well sean 1p...I bought some at 1.23p and more yesterday at 1.95p.. | silkcut5
05/12/2007 16:30 | If they released some further news this could be a very good investment at these levels. lol, nice 80p bid now would suit me fine ;) Surely a bid could be on the cards if there was interest at those levels. Or it is a least an outside possibility.... | seanmiller
05/12/2007 16:25 | I believe in the summer when it was trading at 40p....fidelity hold 17 million which without checking was around 8% i think of the issued share capital, therefore i think my mkt cap fig is roughly right ...Very very cheap.. | silkcut5
05/12/2007 16:22 | Wow, 5m market cap. If that's true then this is a good punt. When did they reject the 80p takeover? | seanmiller
05/12/2007 16:21 | ADVFN have shares in issue as 168 million, i think its more like 280 million, therefore mkt cap today if im correct around £5 million, remember AGC rejected an 80p per share takeover earlier this year... My thoughts exactly sean, its in everyones best interest to get the share price back around 30p....Fingers crossed but still very optomistic. | silkcut5
05/12/2007 16:13 | well, they have the cash, and it is actually increased lol (albeit mainly due to issued share capital). Companies can be profitable, but if cash is not managed then they can implode. Thats the main issue. This was eyecatching "a) Debt rescheduling The Company has agreed to repay a convertible loan note originally issued to Laurus Master Fund Ltd, which was due to May 2008. The Laurus note was replaced with a new note to certain affiliates of Laurus due half in March and half in May 2009. In addition, the Company has also agreed to a further credit facility of US$7 million, draw down being subject to certain conditions. The loans will be secured and are convertible into equity at a price of #0.255, a premium to the average closing price of the Company's shares for the five business days prior to this announcement trading levels." Loands secured at 25.5p is good lol, Lauras wont want that to go wrong at todays levels, so will not put pressure on IMO, just my thought. They have secured the loan under new terms which is encouraging. They have agreed to a further credit fac. of $7m draw down. There is obviously some confidence out there with these numbers. 45m NAV from the balance sheet. There is 69m locked up in fixed assets though, which removes some liquidity. What was the MKT Cap on this tock at these levels? | seanmiller
05/12/2007 15:55 | Ill have a browse mate. | seanmiller
05/12/2007 15:49 | Sean i know your an accountant, can you tell me your opinion of the accounts as last presented please... | silkcut5
05/12/2007 15:45 | I agree, these are good to tuck away mid - long term. | seanmiller
05/12/2007 15:44 | 12 mths ago it was £1.50 ouch if you had not dumped during the fall...to buy the 500k i have recently cost me £8000, in January it would have cost £750,000 ....So to get either nothing back or £80k to me seems a fair gamble. | silkcut5
05/12/2007 15:42 | Sean if we hang on for 12mths and ride the ups and downs, 20p plus in 12 months is not beyond possibility...IMO | silkcut5
05/12/2007 15:40 | lol, amazing. Only 3 months ago it was worth 40p. When these aim stocks drop they really drop. Like you I am staying in with these. Looking forward to some further gians in the coming weeks. | seanmiller
05/12/2007 15:31 | Should turn blue before close, im excited to be in here, really feel at these lows its a 10 bagger. | silkcut5
