04/11/2011 17:47 | Slightly concerns me as regards Fired Earth, it was important to see the management at last statement recognise the difficult operating environment down the line, I hope that they will be ruthless enough to keep cutting the chaff where necessary. | bookbroker
03/11/2011 10:11 | Looks like a profit warning on the way! | bookbroker

01/11/2011 13:32 | Without the co. pension issues that are part of this company, this would be worth twice its current value. They really need to try and offload the fund to a specialist manager, and concentrate on the underlying business. | bookbroker
31/10/2011 18:13 | About time that this company got taken out - worth revisiting post 441 | josephrobert
31/10/2011 13:28 | Take away the fact that the co. is in fact a large pension fund with a superbrand manufacturing business, the valuation representing the productive side of the business is crackers, sure consumer confidence is weak and the housing market overall is pretty stagnant, nonetheless the only folks who acquire many of this cos. products are not short of bread, and the brand itself practically has to be worth the valuation price for the co. | bookbroker
31/10/2011 12:55 | This BB title is a misnomer. It has not been a Good Solid Hold.It might be now. | wad collector
31/10/2011 12:17 | Quite some buying today - trading update Nov 19 approx CR | cockneyrebel
07/10/2011 12:29 | Like the fact AGA increased the net cash position at the half year to £25m for a company with a market cap of £55m you get a company turning over £250m for £55M -£25M = £30m and forecast to make £15m in 2012 that will do me. | wskill
05/10/2011 09:30 | after saying that 74p price is actually 74p to sell and 81.25p to buy (10% spread is punishing) so set my order to purchase at 77p with Barclays Stockbrokers and we will see if AGA MM's take me up on it? | roddyb
05/10/2011 09:28 | mmm at 74p they do look tempting have you noticed if the markets start well AGA's price does not react until after 1pm. This morning FTSE opens up 79pts but AGA flat. bet you by the days end we see one of those quirky price jumps, usually by about 3p | roddyb
05/10/2011 09:11 | Wish I had the funds to top up on these. They remain an excellent long term investment - in my opinion of course. | whites10
04/10/2011 22:57 | Doubled up today. | paul_butcher1999
04/10/2011 15:15 | Wow am I pleased I got out. (It is a sad day when you make more money not trading) - cash is king at the moment. | roddyb
21/9/2011 18:42 | Out today at 89p (was in last week at 84p) set my online order to 92p to catch that daily flick of the tail that I was talking about but it didn't work. I am guessing these shares are going to revisit 85p again in fairly short order. | roddyb
18/9/2011 13:11 | One assumes to discourage buying when they might consider that they will not have enough time to balance the books with an illiquid stock. Just thinking aloud you understand. | darias
16/9/2011 17:06 | Why is it the share price often does a tail flick so late in the day? I notice the MM's ramp it up just before close? 3:45pm and it goes up 3p but no reported trades of note? | roddyb
15/9/2011 22:22 | Finally bought in today. I could be missing something but this stock looks cheap - even allowing for the economy. Net tangible assets are worth 111p per share, cash & eq' alone worth 74p per share, Profitable & paying a dividend, management getting their act together, a new range introduced that can only increase sales, debt under control, a brand name and all for a PE under 4. However, may have to sit tight for a long time............ | whites10
15/9/2011 12:27 | In at 85p but getting out at 93p as this wonders around aimlessly | roddyb
14/9/2011 12:46 | would 80p be a double or triple bottom? | roddyb
14/9/2011 12:46 | I admire your optimism that any form of consumer recovery is on the cards over the next 6 - 12 months I am wondering whether the City thinks there is going to be a write down on the brand names they hold in USA and Ireland? Still holding off that buy | roddyb
01/9/2011 14:15 | I dont think a few pence here or there will matter much if we get a consumer recovery. The divi increase i assume is a signal that they should cope comfortably until times improve. | smicker
01/9/2011 11:15 | Back in today. But may have paid too much. Time will tell. | darias
15/7/2011 10:06 | Blimey! that came quick. Maybe wait for sub 95p before donning my white leather suit with red and blue stars on it? | roddyb
14/7/2011 16:10 | AGA - more ramps than Evel Knievel I am waiting for some sub£1 action before I spread my legs on this one. | roddyb |
